Mizzou is not the best college in the country. It's not even the best college in the Big 12 (that honor belongs to Texas). But, beyond its simple exterior, the University of Missouri is truly a complex, sociable, and at times, incredibly fun place to be. There are always down times when you're not doing a whole lot, and sometimes, that can be a little unnerving. But, there are also periods where it will seem like the fun will never end.
Mizzou is not, however, an immaculate institution. Diversity is certainly lacking, some of the dorm food is sub-par, and parking is difficult. Plus, it seems to be going through some difficult budgetary times, which is causing our tuition to skyrocket. But all of those drawbacks are compensated for by the thrill of screaming "screw KU" at the top of your lungs, gyrating with the apple of your eye in a crowded dance club, or participating in a meaningful club or organization. It's those things that make Mizzou worth going to.
