With 20,000-plus students in attendance at Mizzou, it is not very difficult to find "Mr./Ms. Right" or "Mr./Ms. Right Now." The nightlife at Mizzou offers plenty of opportunities to hook up, and the various classes with people of the same major offer opportunities to find that perfect someone. The guy-to-girl ratio is in favor of the guys at the bars and in favor of the girls when it comes to house parties.

You would think that students at Mizzou are very sexually promiscuous, but most are just trying to find that someone to fall in love with. The average student at MU is a hardworking, party-oriented, friendly, and fun person.

Above Mediocre.

There are some very attractive people here but not a whole lot. However, what stands out is the fact that many students are on the health kick so you may see them running or working out at almost any time of the day. Pretty and Hot is one thing but health physically fit is a certain type of attractiveness as well and there is a lot of that here at Mizzou.

It's All About Competition

Guys here can be hot, sweet, fratty, country, jocks, nerdy and hermits. It's more about being careful not to get sucked into the hook-up atmosphere here but it's easy enough to avoid. The biggest issue is that there are millions of hot girls on our campus so competition for the cute sweet guys is the biggest issue.

Diverse!

I feel that at Mizzou there are various types of people. Everyone comes from all different backgrounds and places which makes it somewhat of a melting pot. Girls and guys are relatively attractive in each ethnicity!

Social Scene

Mizzou's campus provides plenty of opportunities to be social. Residence halls are the perfect place to start for freshmen. Most students party it up Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and sometimes even Sunday nights. The local bars offer plenty of drink specials to get people together.

Hookups or Relationships?

Many people believe that college is mainly for hookups and one-night stands. There are plenty of opportunities for those at bars and house parties. Others, more serious people, believe that they will find their soul mate while spending four years studying. Then, there are the people who are in the middle, who just happen to find the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with. All categories are very prominent at Mizzou; it just depends on the places one frequents.

Best Places to Meet Guys/Girls

Probably the best place to find really attractive people is through the Greeks. A huge portion of the female population join sororities immediately. It is likely that you will be able to interact with members of the opposite sex through Greek life, although the decision of whether or not they deserve your time is completely up to you. If Greek life isn't your thing, bars, clubs, and house parties are also a good place to meet new people. But again, it is very possible to find a long-term relationship through a club or organization—or if you're lucky, through people you encounter in the residence halls

Dress Code

To house parties, students wear whatever the theme is or just casual clothing. Some bars and clubs have a strict dress code. For those places, guys should wear dress shirts and nice jeans or khakis. Girls should stick to dressy shirts, nice jeans, and high heels. Most girls wear very short skirts and very high heels, basically very little clothing. So anything between those two extremes will do just fine.
