Columbia offers a wide array of food options. If you're looking for fast food, there is plenty. Some fast food joints include McDonald's, KFC (with buffet), Burger King, Sonic, Steak 'n Shake, Wendy's, and Taco Bell. These restaurants provide a quick, cheap meal for students on the go. If you're looking for a sit-down meal with some delicious food, there is plenty of that, too. Students who are looking for great pizza frequent Shakespeare's Pizza and pasta at Murry's or the Pasta Factory, and of course, there are lots of bar-and-grill establishments, such as Sky Hi, The Deuce, and Campus Bar and Grill.

The prices at these places are very comparable, ranging anywhere from $10 to $25 per person. The location of restaurants varies a lot. Many are located downtown, while others are off of 70, and some are off of Grindstone Parkway. This may seem very scattered, but the restaurants are about a 15-minute drive from most student neighborhoods.

The District

Since the campus borders the downtown area of CoMo there are a number of places to eat within walking distance. In the mood for pizza, head to Shakespeare's. A burger, Booches might be the place for you. Cant decided between a burger, wings, wrap, salad, there are a number of sports bars nearby, Campus Bar and Grill, Bengals, Shiloh, Harpos, The Field House. In the mood for late night breakfast then head to the Broadway Diner or Earnies. Got a hot date? Flat Branch Brewery, Addison's or Blue. All within the downtown area known as The District and an easy walk from campus.

Columbia!

Downtown Columbia offers a wide variety of restaurants and bars ranging from the very nice to the not so great. A must visit is Shakespeare's on 9th street. It's been a Columbia classic for years, and it's arguably one of the best pizza places here. Another great spot is Booches, also on 9th. A very shady looking place, but with great charm and the best burgers in Columbia.

Mizzou Off Campus

Within walking distance are tons of bars and restaurants. We have a noodles, papa johns, and starbucks immediately off of campus, which we all know are useful to college students. The pricing of the more formal restaurants depends really. We have options from Olive Garden and Macaroni Grill, to casual and cheaper places like Ingredient and Which Wich.
