Considering the size of the student body they do really well in this area, I suppose I am just used to larger Universities. They do not have a football team, which is surprising to me but again it is a small school. Their athletic center is new, really nice, and at first I thought small but since I have been going regularly I realize why it is that size, it isn't really ever busy.

There are not many things that make Montevallo very unique. I feel like the students are the one that bring the uniqueness tot he school. The one thing about the school is that there are beautiful brick streets and just really pretty landscaping that sets this school apart. Also, the big hands statue that is at the front of the school. It is definitely one of th emost unique things, physically, about Montevallo that sets it apart.

Student life on campus is good. There seems to be many things that a person can do if they please. This is such a great thing because sometimes people just want to be alone and to themselves more or are more introverted and so they naturally keep to themselves. The student life is something that helps many new students adjust to college life. The athletics are good too. There seems to be a lot of support from students towards athletics. Then with all the changing of things going on with the school i think it will create an even more laid back and easy-going feel to the school.

The facilities on campus such as the gym, cafeterias and libraries are pretty average, but the campus itself proves to be one of its most unique and rewarding aspects. It is rich with Southern charm and history, and the University's many diverse groups and year-round activities allows for a student to fully immerse themselves in a truly "college lifestyle." While the nightlife may be lacking, any student can still enjoy a rich and rewarding social scene.

There's a saying at my school. :It's easy to get into Montevallo but hard to stay in." The courses are rigorous, but you learn a lot and it's worth it. The academic programs are great and classes are small so your professor knows you by name. Campus life could be better, however. Most people go home on weekends because there isn't much to do in town and there are never any events on the weekends.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
