We Do It Better

Nebraska Greek life is simply huge. Although Greeks comprise a small percentage of the student population, they are everywhere. Walking to class proves it when seeing almost every chapter's letters represented. Also, there is at least one Greek student in each organization. They have a strong part in Homecoming and Greek Week. Just as community is important to the city of Lincoln, it is important to Nebraska Greeks. Instead of focusing on individual chapters, we focus on the Greek community as a whole. It is something Nebraska is very proud of.

Greeks Are Okay

At UNL a lot of people get involved in the Greek system but also a lot of people prefer to not be in it. Greek life is a great way to meet more people and get involved. Greek life is also demanding though and takes a lot of time to dedicate to it.

Greek Life

The Greek community at UNL is a huge part of campus. The good thing is it's not just about partying. Every house is very involved on campus and are required to have fairly high GPA's. Being in one of the sororities on campus, I can personally say that we are held to a higher standard because we are in the Greek system. However, not being part of the Greek system is common too, everyone gets along whether you're in a house or not.
