Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

UNL students really appreciate the free bus pass from the University, but that alone doesn’t make the public transportation system work any better. Students can also take advantage of the free nightly taxi service the University provides to students who party a little too hearty. Most of all, students rejoice in UNL’s central location, which puts students within walking distance to most of their lifelines.

If you’re from out of state or it’s spring break and you want to get out of Nebraska, then be warned: The Lincoln airport is nothing spectacular. Always check the Omaha airport for better prices and more flexibility because it’s offers more flight departures than Lincoln Municipal.

Easy and Always Going

There is never a time where the bus is not on its way--it has multiple busses going at once, and it allows students to do exactly what the need to do and be successful.

Solid

The buses will take you about everywhere. The biggest obstacle is that there are two campus, East and City. So when you have classes on the other one then you are located you have to take the bus or you could walk but it is a hike. Not that big of a problem though.

S****y, but I Have a Car

The transportation at this campus isn't sufficient in my opinion. There are buses that only take you from one campus to another, but not downtown or to the southern side of Lincoln. I have a car, so this doesn't affect me.
