Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Located in a transient city, all kinds of students are drawn to UNLV. It’s the school where you’re likely to bump into someone from your hometown, be it Portland or Tokyo. UNLV also takes pride in its diversity with the Ethnic Student Council and the Office of the Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion. These groups take steps to insure that UNLV is an advocate of diversity in every way: race, color, ethnicity, language, immigration status, sexual orientation, religion, and their lists go on.

UNLV believes that the more robustly diverse a community of learning is the better. Living with diversity positively affects academics, graduation rates, getting hired, and career promotions. But UNLV’s commitment to diversity is by far more ethically driven. Diverse? Yeah, but you probably won’t feel like a minority here.

Very Diverse

We have a variety of races. I don't think there are any specific race that is the majority, its pretty equal. Regarding religion, I am not really sure I think most people in campus are secular but that's just my opinion.Overall, I think its very diverse.
