The school sends out emails about updates on Financial Aid. It is extremely helpful.

It was very tedious but got it done in the end.

The procces went very smooth. I had no problems applying and when the University got my application they emailed me right away. I didnt receive as much as I hoped so I am trying to apply for as many scholarships as possible.

I got the financial aid I needed. Through grants and scholarships, I had most of it covered. Granted, I did have to take out loans, but that was because I chose to live on campus, have a meal plan, and buy my textbooks. If I had chosen to live in an apartment and given myself a budget for food, I wouldn't have needed to take out a loan. I went through Amazon as much as I could but with the way some professors make you buy access codes that cost $120 and up, I still dished out $489 for textbooks. It was horrible, but that's college.

They are based off of only financial need of your parents, rather than your financial needs.
