Parking on campus isn't too bad, there are plenty of open spots available at both buildings on campus. Depending on what time your class is, you might have to park in the back, but it's still not far from the doors. If you have a night class or feel uncomfortable security will drive you to your car. The only downside I've noticed is when it snows the snowbanks take up quite a few parking spaces.

Computer labs at UNH Manchester are almost always open and there are computers in the library available for use too and they all conveniently run both mac and pc operating systems. There are also laptops for rent in the library for personal use and there is WiFi on campus. The only big downside is that printing isn't free, but you can use your student card to pay for printing.

The main UNH campus in Durham, NH, has greek like, but the manchester campus does not. However, I know many people involved in greek life in Durham and I know that it's an essential part of the school and student life. I think greek life can be very beneficial to a school.

Guys & Girls:
I think the guys are very nice and respect girls, of course, I haven't met all the guys at my school, but the ones I have came across have been very nice. I have found the same thing with the girls. I was afraid they were going to be snobby when I first started college but I've made many great friends and have found the girls to have matured a lot since high school!

The financial aid process at my school is great and is the only reason I can afford to go there. The staff is so friendly and helpful and I've never felt dumb for walking in and having to lay out my financial situation and explain I need financial assistance. My tip for getting aid at my school is just to be honest about what your needs are and you are more likely to get the aid you require.

The academic at UNHM is awesome. The professors are always willing to help you study. Many study groups are on campus as well in our academic center.

So Much Variety – There are so many close restaurants near UNH. Literally in every direction you go there are a ton of places to grab something to eat, and in all price ranges.

Since the parking passes were free it was very convenient to get. Plus the parking is so close to the main door and near all my classes. It is great they have a parking lot for the Pandora building also.

Guys & Girls:
Big Variety in Guys – There are so many different types of guys on campus. Some are nerdy, some preppy, cute, ugly really so much variety. There are guys ranging from 18-30+ and seem to be interested in all different kinds of things.

Health & Safety:
Very Safe – The campus cops are amazing and will do anything to be there for us if we need them. They will walk you right to your car and are always at the front desk if you need them!

No Sports at UNH Manchester – No sports teams at UNH Manchester, all sports are in Durham.

Never Had a Problem – There is no on campus housing, so I've never seen anyone have a problem, security guards are pretty easy going and helpful.

All I had to do was make an appointment with my advisor to decide my major. In the beginning, I started out as undeclared. Two biology classes later, and I knew what I wanted my major to be. My advisor was very supportive, and helped me decide what my plan was going to be from there.

Many Ethnicities – There are many different ethnicities at UNH Manchester. None of my classes contain the same race throughout.

The biology major is extremely welcome at UNH Manchester. There is always someone to help with homework, and all of the required classes for this major are offered. I love being a Bio major at UNH.

Help Is Always Available – There are free tutors available to all students. All students are entitled to one hour of free tutoring per class, per week. This is the best thing about UNH at Manchester because it is very helpful to both those who are struggling, and those who are not.

There are so many different races at UNH Manchester. We are growing in numbers every year. That is also what makes it a fun school to attend. You learn things about differend races and religions you never thought you would.

Health & Safety:
Special Security Measures – UNH at Manchester does a great job protect students items that they have lost or forgotten. They make sure that you are the person when picking up your item

Junk. Slow Internet Connection – The computers at UNH:M are very outdated for the computer sciences lab. The computers at the other labs are all macintosh and also not very effective. The internet connection at UNH:M is very slow due to the shared connection with UNH:Durham. They do not provide enough bandwidth to support such a network.

Small and Personal – The UNHM campus is a commuter school and therefore does not have the many in school facilities as I would have liked, we have a decent sized library and 2-3 computer labs to use, there is also a cafe with a variety of foods, but besides that there is not to much on the campus itself. the classrooms are decent sized but keep the classes small and personal and in alot of classes the teachers know you by name and it becomes personal and you feel welcome

Welcoming and Busy – If you decide you want to get out into the community, there are alot of things that you can do in Manchester. 2 blocks away on main street are many local attractions, bars, stores, restaurants and more. Enough to keep things exciting, there is even a minor league baseball field and the Verizon center where many baseball games, hockey games and events are held.

Everyone lives in other areas, there is usually is nothing going on after class hours on campus besides concerts here and there but they consist of people from school. There are never any good events at school.
College Senior 2011-10-13T19:55:08Z
Pretty Good – The off campus housing is all apartments in the Manchester area. They are roughly ten minutes from school. These can be very pricey at times. I live at home with my parents so I save money and don't have to worry about finances as much.
College Senior 2011-10-13T19:53:16Z
OK but Not the Best – The food cafe is very small, very difficult to get around if crowded during certain times of the day. The food itself is mediocre. There are no meal plans UNH at Manchester because it is a commuter school, everything is out of pocket.
College Senior 2011-08-22T18:51:04Z
Good Program – UNH is known for their excellence in business, and naturally, UNHM carries the same reputation. The business teachers are great, and really care about the students. The workload isn't too intense, but the quality of what you learn is amazing.
