what's UNC like for (Australian) international students?

i'd only be there a semester but looking for a cool school with a good sports program and awesome parties.. (i'm a 22 year old dude)

I lived in Phillips-Hawkins this year, which is the international dorm, and all of the internationals I met and talked to loved it. Soccer is a pretty big deal here.

The school has a good sports program and plenty of activities including night life that will keep you busy.

I have a friend who is an Australian international student and he loves the wide array of people on the sports teams and everyone offers their own special talent that makes a great team. UNCG consists of many good times...but remember, work before play!

You can join student sports club and attend "awesome" parties on off-campus housing, I'm sure.

I think UNCG has good sports but be advised we don't have a football team and that is a downside for me.

There is a lot to do on campus and the sports that UNCG does have are very good.

It would be great UNCG has a great program for international students with many sports to choose from and as for parties there's always partying on the weekends.

There are many international students at this school. If you're looking for football than this school doesn't have it. There are lots of parties but mainly for the frats.

There are a lot of fun things to do, including sports and hanging out with friends.

We have baseball, basketball, golf, track and soccer teams. No quite sure about the parties. If you become a member of a faternity you will have a good social life and meet plenty of "sisters" from various sorieties.

We have a really good sports program; however, we do not have a football team...I know it sucks but we just dont have one yet. As far as parties would go, I really dont know because I just transferred in.

It's great! There's a ton to do and parties every day of the week. Sports department definitely takes care of their athletes!

UNCG has great programs. There are a lot of sporting events and our basketball team was AWESOME!!!!

You will like it! I actually have a friend who is from Australia and she likes the campus. There is a club few blocks away from school, and there are a lot of performances near campus--jazz bands, theather, orchastra, etc.

You would get a lot of questions and attention about Australia. Baseball and basketball are pretty good.I don't really know about the other sports. To the parties, im not sure.

The sports program isn't the greatest here, but the party life is great. I had two Australian guys in my class two semesters ago, and they seemed to have a blast at UNCG.

I think it would be fun for you! There are a ton of parties, I've heard about the sports program but haven't been to any games yet!
