They oversell spots in certain zones, so sometimes you cannot find parking close to your building. It costs $300 for a regular spot, but more to park in the deck. When you park in the wrong zone and get a fine, you can usually get it repealed for your first offense. If you don't get it appealed, you can volunteer on campus so you don't have to pay!
