Sometimes, there will be a bad day (i.e. rain, jumpy weather, etc.), but on the other days, you can see the sky sporting a very, very Carolina Blue. It just shines down on us as Carolina students. The weather here is very moderate; not too cold, not too hot. When nice weather comes out, everyone is outside and hanging in the Quad or the Pit.

I believe that the strictness is not too bad. Coming from a Catholic high school, UNC's strictness is not too far from the strictness of my high school. It's a little more lenient, but not too lenient where chaos is happening. It is the perfect balance of strict and leniency.

This school has all the facilities that make it so great. You have gyms, libraries, many resources, etc. The campus is fantastically beautiful. It also gives off a "homey" feeling, like you belong here. Everything here sets this school apart from any other school. It is the Carolina Way to make UNC the place to be.

UNC's student life is incredible. You can go meet a person and be friends with them your entire life. The Pit is where everyone meets up. The dining services are great to meet people. The gyms are very user friendly. The libraries are perfect for studying. I have not heard once that someone hated it here at UNC. It just goes to show how much of a Tar Heel family that we are. We bleed Carolina Blue here, and there is no joke in that. It is everything that I've ever wanted in a college.

I do not live off campus, but there are plenty of off campus housing that are feasible and affordable

Restaurants are available at the residents fingers. Delivery or pickup is right around the corner when you are at Carolina. Great restaurants on Franklin St. which is the most popular attraction when you come to Carolina. All the restaurants are worth a bite to eat.

Amazing campus. Great environment that is warm and welcoming. The students here are fabulous and are always helping each other. Making friends is not hard at all, and lets not forget about our awesome football and basketball team. The games are filled with fun, excitement, and competiveness. It is the best school on the planet.

I am a junior here at Carolina and as a Biology major I am surrounded by professors, teaching assistants and fellow students who are each and everyone of them their own unique scientist. With different interests and reasons behind their passion for science. The classrooms and lab envirnments are well organized and modern along with a curriculum that is constantly being reviewed and updated. These criteria are absolutely needed for flourishing scientific programs, of which Carolina has many.

Carolina has very high acedemic standards and I am proud to be a part of such an excellent school. It is easy to see the dedication of our students. Our overall thirst for knowledge and acedemic success it visable even if you spend just a day on campus. In the classrooms, the library and even spread over the grounds, when the weather permits, you will find carolina students studying, discussing a broud range of subjects with genuine interest and truely enjoying their education.

Guys & Girls:
Carolina has a well-known reputation in the state for having very attractive females and I agree with this for the most part. I think we also have an attractive male component to our student body. In general, I think that carolina is composed of bright, well dressed and predominantly good natured students from all over the country and all over the would. I believe that the beauty of our students is matched only by the beauty of our campus and the diversity of culture and hertitage makes it that much more amazing to be a part of.

Incredible. Literally everything about the campus facilities is great. There's a lot of room, both inside and out.

Health & Safety:
This place is very safe. I've never run into any problems with anything, although if you go off campus to Franklin Street, you will likely encounter some strange, creepy people.

I'm from the beach, so I'm used to the sun and warm temperature. It does get cold and dreary at times, but it's nothing you can't handle for sure. Besides, the cold weather is sort of refreshing.

Some people say the rooms are too small, but if you pick the right residence halls, you'll have plenty of room.
South campus is MUCH more social, and there's always stuff happening. South campus dorms are a further walk to class, but it's barely noticeable. Ram's gym and dining hall are really close too, as are Kenan Stadium and the Dean Dome.
Stick to Hardin/Craige North for dorms. They're the two newest, have the biggest rooms on South campus, have internal hallways, and you have to share your bathroom with only one other room instead of 3. Koury/Horton are older versions of basically the same set up. But it's easier to be social in internal hallways.

All of the varsity teams are competitive. Intramural is good fun as well. The gyms and other facilities on campus are great too.
You wont find a better rivalry than the Duke/UNC basketball rivalry anywhere.

The system is above average, but I still feel as though I'm not challenged much. Professors are good, but not excellent.

I have never had a problem with computer usage on campus. I can always find a computer to use in the library and wifi always works well.

Varsity sports at UNC are fantastic! We have a very deep and talented program with all of our teams. Nothing is better than going to a Tar Heel sporting event. The facilities are all very nice, and athletes are treated well. Club sports are also very popular among students, as well as intramural sports. Everyone is able to play a sport on campus because there are so many options and levels of play!
College Junior 2012-10-05T02:20:49Z
The dorms are small unless you get into the Kenan community which is reserved for upperclassman.
College Junior 2012-10-05T02:19:33Z
Parking on campus is only available after 5 on weekdays and they usually fill up right at five. You can purchase a spot but they are quite expensive.

Usually the weather is cool and sunny but lately it has been rainy and gloomy.
College Junior 2012-10-05T02:12:02Z
This college is really not all that strict on clothing or behavior. They do however crack down on underage drinking and honor code violations which is good and appropriate.
College Junior 2012-10-03T22:48:20Z
Strict, everyone is encouraged to abide by the law.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
