Campus Parking – Expensive and difficult to obtain. Cars are a hassle at Chapel Hill.

Gyms and Green Areas – They are really good, there are two gyms and 3 pools. There are also plenty of green areas for people to sit and relax. Also a lot of libraries and places to study in peace. Everything is very clean

These places get full so quickly. Very difficult to find seating at peak hours.

Get a lot of respect. But you have to work constantly to stay ahead.

Varies at Best – Some of the professors in the Biology department are obviously experts in their fields, but this doesn't make them great instructors. There is not enough consistency in the quality or grading of the Biology classes offered. One section of a class could have an amazing professor, while the other section's professor is incompetent at his job during the same semester

Well Informed – UNC is very adamant about providing information about drug and safety concerns here on campus as well as provide numerous services for that purpose.

Few Complaints Here! My experience with off-campus housing has been pretty good. My only complaint is that I ended up living just a little farther away than I originally wanted to (it's not walking distance), but I'm still located on a bus line and I've used the time on the ride over to either cram in some studying or last minute reading, or even a fun, non-school-related book. Pretty much everyone I know has been able to find reasonably-priced living situations - apartments or houses - either within walking distance or on a bus line.

UNC has a thriving Greek scene from the cookie cutter sororities and fraternities to diverse academic, athletic, as well as some religious fraternities and sororities. It never fails for there to be groups of girls heading up to Franklin and going out to party every Friday and Saturday night. Personally, I don't care much for the frat parties but if you are wanting, there is always something going on. Also, the sorority and fraternity houses are just beautiful to say the least.

Not a Huge Sports Fan, but I Like the Environment – I don't really follow sports, but they're big on campus, and i like the feeling of camaraderie that comes with pulling for the basketball team.

There is a street for just Greek housing but that life is not for everyone. Not being a part of it does not disclude you from college life.

GO HEELS! S**** CRAZY. The tailgating for football games is great its a fabulous environment everyone is loud the campus is roaring no matter how early and the opponent. The basketball is AMAZING because we are so good every year so cheering those guys on is the greatest. And overall our athletics is always top in the nation no matter what sport soccer, baseball, lacrosse, and even rowing; the UNC athletics is one of a kind and no matter watch sport your watching its always a great environment.

Buses and Bikes – The buses on campus are very useful, but i would reccomend a bike to help get around easier.

The sportts at UNC vary greatly and include many sports for guys and girls. The biggest sport on campus in the Basketball team. Go Tar-Heels!

Chapel Hill in the Spring is one of the most beautiful places in the world. It's a picture perfect campus with all of the trees and flowers in bloom. Students flock to the quads, take strolls through the arboretum, and professors sometimes hold class outside. Autumn is also mild and pretty. Depending on the year, we sometimes get snow during the winter, but more often than not, they're mild. But as with any town in North Carolina, the summers are brutal with the high humidity.

There's hardly in parking on campus, at least for students. Most students that live on campus park their car in a UNC student lot a couple miles off campus that you have to take a bus to get to. Others buy spots off Craige's list or from a friend. After 5:00 and all weekend, parking is free. However, the campus police are sticklers about giving tickets...beware!

The meal plans for the dinning halls are overpriced and inflexible. Most people have meals left over which cost $10.00 a piece. The food is okay, not the best though. The best part about a meal plan is the convenience. One dinning hall is on central campus and is perfect for going to between classes and the other is on South Campus. However, the dinning halls close a bit early and don't have good weekend hours.

Awesome for Student-Athletes – Great perks for student-athletes! Free tutoring, printing, academic support and advising, medical needs. Access to trainers 24/7 as needed. Athletes also get priority registration times and housing selections for mid-campus dorms.

Hard to find parking spaces if you don't have a permit for a specific spot.

Received a free laptop from UNC. Also get $40 worth of printing every semester, at 10 cents a page. Very useful and there are printers to use in each dorm and library. Would be nice if they were in the academic building for usage, as well.

The weather is kind of bipolar here - it'll be really hot one day and really cold the next. It doesn't impact classes at all, just what students wear each day. LFIT classes are the only affected, but can move into the gym to accommodate. Campus is gorgeous.

There are a lot of different diverse groups on campus. Everyone is mature and able to deal with the differences respectfully.

Greeks are pretty much the only preppy people on campus. Greek life is known for parties, but their presence on campus is minimal aside from nightlife.

Campus is very safe and we receive reports from Campus Safety regarding all crimes in the local area,

Super Full – EXSS is a very popular major here so the classes are always full and difficult to get into if you're an underclassman. Declare an EXSS major ASAP!

Not Sure – I personally don't get involved with the night life, but I have heard and seen pictures of several clubs in the area.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
