Students who attend Carolina are often happy with their choice-even if it wasn't their first. UNC is surrounded by a great college town, is one of the most prestigious public schools in the nation, and is one of the most diverse schools in the nation. The list goes on and on. What more could a college student ask for? At times, yes, Carolina can seem a little redundant and repetitious, but so can any other school. However, if you find a good group of friends and find your niche at Carolina, you'll always find something new around the corner.
This book is proof that your good experiences will outweigh your negative experiences by a ton at Carolina. Yes, there will be run-ins with teachers, failed midterms, pop-quizzes, parking catastrophes, shallow people, and messy, annoying roommates. However, that's a part of college life at any school. It doesn't take long to adjust to Carolina. It's mainly common sense-hang out with old friends, make new friends, party, take a weekend trip or two (but don't forget to bring along your books). Students who attend UNC realize that they are receiving a great college education and an even better college experience.
