Carolina weather is unpredictable to say the least. It might be 80 degrees one day and 50 the next, but it is always beautiful. The drastic changes in weather can be bothersome but also quite nice because it allows students to do a myriad of activities despite the current season. The varied weather that North Carolina experiences makes it great for a weekend camping trip to the mountains or a drive to the beach for some sun. It's a good idea to keep clothes for all seasons in your wardrobe because you will need them.

Chapel Hill weather is also interesting in that it is one of few places in the United States that experiences all 4 seasons in great distinction. From cold winters (and even some snow!) to vibrant springs and muggy summers to the ever-changing foliage of fall, it is definitely never boring. Campus is typically vibrant and flower filled in the spring, and cool and crisp in the fall. As long as you are prepared for the weather Carolina will be a enjoyable eperience.
