Health & Safety:
I always feel safe on campus, and the patrolling campus pd does a great job.
College Sophomore 2012-12-21T19:27:50Z
Have to walk from Holshouser to North Deck because other parking is unvaliable.
College Junior 2012-12-21T05:35:16Z
The facilities are very cleanly, and that is something that many students enjoy. No one wants to live in a messy area.

Health & Safety:
Everything at the school is very sanitary and healthy. Another reason why I like being in a clean enviroment.
College Junior 2012-12-21T05:31:18Z
The Housing is very nice, another reason why I chose my school. The housing is very nice on the inside and it is worth living there, they are new and nothing really old is still apart of our campus.
College Junior 2012-12-21T05:30:11Z
The facilities at our school are absolutely fabulous! It is very modern and the thing about most colleges and universities is that many buildings are either old, new, or both. Our school is very uniform and consistent, which makes the campus look nice and neat.

Guys & Girls:
There is a good mixture of people at UNCC. There is a large presence of fraternities and sororities. It is hard to make friend who you can hang out with outside of school because there are many commuters.
College Junior 2012-12-15T19:35:56Z
Parking is way too high. Parkings is about half a grand and most of the time I cannot even find a decent spot. I use to go to UNCG and we had campus busses that took us around campus and I liked that, but UNCC only offers services similar to that at night.
College Junior 2012-12-15T19:34:13Z
Health & Safety:
One thing I do not like about UNCC safety is that in a lot of the elevators, especially in parking garages, you cannot see what floor you are on (the floor display is broken). Overall, crime on campus is not bad. I have not had any issues or ever felt unsafe.
College Junior 2012-12-13T03:21:03Z
I enjoy the overall atmosphere of my school. It is a town full of options for things to do. There is nearby malls and shopping areas, plenty of places for dining options, and there is stadiums downtown. There is also a great nightlife for most college students, the clubs seem to be a popular attraction. There are also art museums all around.
College Junior 2012-12-13T03:16:36Z
There is always fast-food options available all around but not all of them are as healthy or as expensive as normal restaurants. Most clothing stores are the ones who give student discounts, not the dining places. The places I am most familiar with would be McDonalds, Ishi a sushi place, but cook-out would be my recommendation. It is the most affordable and more healthy than others.
College Junior 2012-12-13T02:14:57Z
There are more minority students then non-minority students that attend this university. Also I have seen many international students on campus, a few of which I've seen act in a play of campus.

I didn't get hardly any financial aid. Even after accepting everything they offered even the high interest rated bad ones I normally stay away from I still fell short of meeting the total for each semester. I had to take out my own student loan from a private bank. I wasn't offered any grants unlike a different school I went to. Also, the process was confusing, I could hardly ever get anyone on the phone to talk to and the people I did were rude.
College Junior 2012-12-13T02:04:41Z
UNCC seems to be very strict. The advisors are rude and hard to talk to. The police are never outside of their cars so it's hard if you need help. Also, they are very strict with deadlines, curriculum and structure. Many of my teachers said they wish they could teach things a different more interesting way but they can't because they have to follow the guidelines.
College Junior 2012-12-12T03:11:08Z
There seems to be a huge lack of communication for pre nursing majors. The program needs some serious revamping. ok for right out of HS, but not a good fit for adult students.
College Junior 2012-12-11T01:40:15Z
At UNCC there are a huge number of students that are international. They are very friendly and eager to learn about America! There are people from Japan, France, and even Saudi Arabia. It's nice to see and learn about other students and their countries as well!
College Sophomore 2012-12-07T02:43:20Z
There are people of many different races and religions. You see many different people on campus.
College Sophomore 2012-12-05T08:35:01Z
The food is decent. Yeah you get tired of the norms but they often times switch up the menu. Crown Commons is the best place to go so far until they build the new dining hall next year. Oh and the cooks are cute!!! <- something to look forward to every meal lol
College Sophomore 2012-12-05T08:31:25Z
Computers are EVERYWHERE! Telling your professor the "I couldn't get to a computer" excuse will not work! There are no excuses as to why you wouldn't have access to a computer, library is open 24/7. But printers on the other hand, aren't so reliable.
College Sophomore 2012-12-05T08:26:30Z
There's always something to do on the weekend. People throw parties even during exam week lol.
College Sophomore 2012-12-05T08:24:28Z
Parking is okay but getting to your spot can be crazy with soo many students walking EVERYWHERE! If you live in the freshmen dorms and drive to school, your parking spot is FAR but they're building new ones closer! :)

Guys & Girls:
Not a lot of guy options, sadly. Most of the good looking ones are concided and not worth your time.
College Sophomore 2012-11-29T19:48:08Z
There are good places to eat on campus and there are plenty of good options.
College Sophomore 2012-11-27T02:22:54Z
there are a lot of restaurants around campus and easy access to a freeway for the ones that are a bit farther away.
College Sophomore 2012-11-27T02:22:03Z
Sometimes they're just out of the way, and often the library just has zero computers available.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
