From what I have heard about the Exercise Science Program at UNCC, the professors are great and the program is great as well. I recently changed my major to Pre-Kinesiology and am looking forward to meeting the teachers as well as the students.

Diversity. Acceptance. Friendly. UTOP. This is a very diverse school. Walking around campus you see many people of different races. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I was a part of a program called UTOP which stands for University Opportunities Program. This is a 5 week program offered to upcoming freshman. You come to school basically a month early with people of different races and get a head start on college life. This was a wonderful program and it really prepared me and helped me transition from high school to college.

Go Green. Excellent Staff. Acceptance. Diversity. Pride. My school is excellent. The staff are amazing and are always helpful. The facilities and centers are always clean, quiet, and have great resources. My school is big on going green and recycling is encouraged. There are recycling containers almost everywhere. Homecoming is exciting. However, we do not have a football team yet, so we celebrate basketball. We have a homecoming parade ! Campus Activity Board host tons of events such as Bingo, Build-A-Bear, and even carnivals.

School of Business – As a finance major, I find that this program is quite informative. Real-life situations are always incorporated into the daily activities of the classroom. If I could do it all over again I would. My goal is to work for a company to gain more experience so that later on in life, I could finance and manage my own business. The only concern I have of finding a job is that businesses are reluctant to hire a inexperienced graduate student with no prior finance work experience.

If its hot it is difficult to walk around campus comfortably because we hav lots of hills and steps but you will be in shape by the time you leave.
College Junior 2012-07-04T22:58:18Z
We basically have unlimited 24 hour visitation and campus police don;t walk around that often but still ride around to make sure there isn't any funny business

Diverse Options – The restaurants that are located around campus are very clean and have qualitly service of food. Near UNCC are plenty of dining options in case one is sick of the dining hall or food options that are provided on campus.

Greek life is very enthusiastic at my university. They host many of campus activities that keep alot of the campus involved. They provide a good outlook for themselves and not like the stereotypes from the movies.

Guys & Girls:
Don't Waste Your Time – There are plenty of girls at unc-charlotte, but don't waste your time on them. They like guys that are either total frat douche bags or have a ton of money.

Niner Nation – UNCC is a great school, especially when it comes to academics, but socially we lack school spirit and because of this campus live can get dull. However, if you take advantage of all the opportunities UNCC has to offer and get involved, you'll find that campus isn't as boring as someone make it out to be!
College Senior 2012-06-24T17:23:33Z
It all depends on your major, but for the most part academics are good. Make sure to stay up on all the requirements you need, and to ask for help. Most professors are good about helping as long as you ask for it.

I mean everyone has a laptop typically, and there's wifi in a lot of popular buildings on campus. Not all classrooms have it though.

There's the Gold Mine trolleys that pick people up on a fixed route. I never have to take them because I live close to my classes, but if you need to they can run a few minutes behind - so plan accordingly. There's also SafeRide if you need a ride at night.

I Like It Here – I like it here, once you get involved and meet people it's a great community.

I think I really have to find out more in my program. The advisor I had my freshman year seemed helpful, but somehow there were always roadblocks with her. Like she always forgot to let me in on something important I needed to know in the longrun. However there are many resources, and additional aid for the particular classes. Luckily there are many people to also help and give advice and not just one.

SAFE Ride for Late Nights – We have a bus transportation called SAFE ride, and all you have to do is call them, and tell where you are. They will pick you up anywhere on campus and go wherever on campus you need. Unfortunately, SAFE ride isn't always on time so it always depends when you call. Your waiting time could be none at all to about 15-20 minutes. This is also free. We also had cars to be rented on campus. $8 an hour and gas is for free. I don't usually ride the bus. Trolleys are always great. They run every stop every 15 minutes.

You will find just about any race at UNC Charlotte. There are many types of cultures and diversities. Everyone here is a family and equally and socially accepted. I don't think there would be challenges. Being introduced to everyone allows us to accept the differences and get to know each person universally.

It's There If That's Your Scene – if you're a party animal there's plenty of options

I can't comment on the bus system that runs off campus because I've never used it but on campus there's saferide. They're not always reliable.

You Can Never Be Bored – Charlotte is already a hot spot. There are local clubs and nice eateries in Charlotte so the city itself offers so much. On campus they have a gym, a pool, and a movie theater that is free for students. They even have basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer courts just for recreation.
College Junior 2012-06-18T19:09:58Z
It's Pretty Decent – For the most part it's pretty hot but we are in the south. So you'll experience some really hot days but when winter comes it's not to bad. We don't experience any snow all you have to worry about is heavy rain, but the buildings aren't that far apart and we have a trolley.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
