The Highrises – By living at the highrises at UNC Charlotte you will have the opportunity to be social. It is affordable compared to the other housing choices, and it is very convenient, because we have a dinning area right around the corner.

Freshman- Biology Major – It hasn't been easy to major in Biology, specially since I am a freshman; the transition from high school to college is tough, because you have to learn how to manage time, and be disciplined. Being a Biology major requires you to spend a lot of time studying and fighting procrastination. We have amazing professors at the university that are more than willing to help, there are lots of resources that will help you be successful in your classes.

The weather in Charlotte is always nice and comfortable. Even when the weather is on the bad side, its never the worst it could be.

Need More School Spirit – The team performance and athletics in general are A quality, but the turnout is lack luster. Maybe after football comes to UNCC, then things might change for the better because football is the sport to watch and enjoy.

Noticeably Diverse – There are plenty of different races, and cultures on campus.

It's ok. Around campus there is your usual fare. Taco Bell, McDonalds, Jack in the Box...not a lot of upscale places to eat unless you venture downtown.

Everything Is New – From the library to the gym, everything is kept in top shape and clean. The library is awesome with it's own cafe and every piece of literature you could imagine. There are tons of computers on campus for you to use that you can easily use to back up all of your files in case your personal computer crashes.

The dining halls on campus are wonderful. They have tons of restaurants and the a la carte menu is varied as well.

Printing on Campus – The library allows students to print FOR FREE, a very nice feature.

The Fall is always crisp, the Winter is always mild, and the Spring is always perfect! Usually never a rainy day or bad weather.

CLUB SCENE IS AWESOME! There is never a dull moment on the club scene, girls basically get to go for free, and there is every-type of club available here, from hip-hop, to country, dubstep, rock, alternative, and electronic. You are never going to be bored at night in the city! All of the clubs are 18+ and you can use your college ID to get in.

Great Teachers – The school is what you make of it, you will succeed and progress all according to how serious you take the school. The teachers here are BRILLIANT.

There are plenty of off campus selections. Some of them allow anyone to move in regardless of if they are a student or not which causes problems because that's where the drugs come from.
The cost is pretty awesome especially for the furnished apartments. The school also has a free shuttle come to different stops at the apartments.

The hours of some of the places vary but the dining halls have a variety of food. The school also gives options of different restaurants. We can use our meal plan in the dining halls but we have a declining balance that we can use at the various restaurants.

Assessible at All Times – Though the printing on campus isn't free, students still make use of it. The wireless networks have their failures sometimes. The computer labs are usually 24 hours.

Undercover Drug Addicts – We've already had students arrested for drug possesion and DWI on campus. Being that its considered a party school i think a lot more arrests are going to be made.

Friendly Frats and Sorors – Greek Life pretty much takes over the campus. There are so many options when it comes to chosing which fraternity or sorority you want to be involved in.

Guys & Girls:
A Diverse Community – The school includes many diversities. We also have the party people, the extremely studious people, and the athletic groups. All students fit into these 3 categories according to me.

Guys & Girls:
Charlotte is definitely a place to party, and a lot of people do love to go out clubbing. A LOT. There are all type of girls, I've met mean ones, nice ones, hilarious ones, and crazy ones. The people here are in general really good- looking. There are some guys that are just really nice to look at. Students love the gym, its always busy, theres a lot of people running on campus too; so physical fitness is definitely an interest.

Union, Library, Gym – I love love love the library and the gym on campus. Its pretty much where I go between and after classes. There are always tables out in the lobbies for different groups, even tonight they have a pumpkin painting event. Theres not that much to do on the weekends if you don't go out but there are free movies (good ones too!) in the Union. The Union was just redone and its where all the student organizations are, along with the bookstore, wendys, starbucks and other stuff. There are great fitness classes offered at the gym too.

New Student! This is my first semester at UNC Charlotte and so far I love the content of my classes but the teachers could be more interesting or I'd settle for just more clear in what they expect from me as a student. I've heard it's not always that way though. I know that there is free tutoring and I've gone to see my advisor many times. She is very helpful with making sure I'm taking the right classes and getting my classes transferred over. And even though my teachers are unclear I've stopped by office hours and they try to help. Always see your advisor before registering for classes!

Ran by the Students – With over 250 student organizations, the students control a lot here. There's a Student Government Association, an LGBT club, and also intramural sports teams. Our school and how it is ran is in control of mostly the students, which I like. There's a ton of diversity on campus and all walks of life can find a place here.

Not Much for on Campus, but Plenty Off Campus – Nightlife around the campus is available for people 18+. The University is located in a very urban area with many clubs, parties and bars for any of age students. Transportation is convenient and affordable.
