I've never not been able to find a parking spot. The parking deck fills up really quick, especially when it's raining. If you're okay with not getting the closest parking spot and having a bit of a walk then parking shouldn't be a problem.

I have never personally road the bus but always see them. If I ever needed to ride a bus I don't believe I would have a problem catching one.

There's a good amount of options, but only about 4 fast food restaurants.

I think parking at any campus is a nightmare, it's no worse than any other campus I've been to or heard about. Just be sure to be early to class and you'll be fine.

It's been raining a lot and it takes a while to get to classes, but if you remember an umbrella it's not that bad.

There are a lot of apartments close to campus and a ton of parking all over campus.

We have too many dining options around campus so you will always find something that you will like to eat.

The weather is pretty fair. The temperatures during spring and summer are not excruciatingly hot and it only gets really cold during January and February. You can still dress as cute as you want to.

The Greek life allow everyone in the school to be involved on campus. You do not have to be Greek to affiliate with them, they are normal people.
College Junior 2013-07-15T22:03:17Z
We have buses around campus that take people wherever they want to go in campus. They also have buses that take people that live off campus to the nearby student apartments close to the school.

The nightlife on weekends at UNCC is okay depending on what you're exactly looking for. Parties are few and far between, just keep your friends close and you'll find your way into them. Then for another option you can go to Bar Charlotte or Phoenix, which is located downtown, occasionally will there be a bus to ride to those locations for students to get on but it's better just to have friends and be on a rotation of who will drive each time.

It's not too hard finding things to do in Charlotte. If you really want have a good time, try going downtown.

Generally, there are plenty of computers available to use through the computer labs. As for the Wi-Fi it's pretty good when it's working, but sometimes I had trouble connecting. The multiple occasions this occurred were very frustrating .

With my program, Athletic Training, is very competitive. As of now, I'm not exactly a part of the program. I'm in the pre-kinesiology program that forces you to finish your pre-requisites before you can even be considered a part of the program. It is difficult but if you keep your head on straight and stay focused then it won't be a problem.

Greek life actually affect our school campus positively. Being a part of these organizations you have to be very involved and also scholars. Smart people get involved in this, not the stereotype that frats and sororities are dumb. I'm very interested in becoming a part of Greek life as well. Now, the partying aspect will never go away but sometimes it's good, you get to know the people you want to be in the organization with and what they do.

I have never seen a more diverse group of people or students until I arrived at this school and everyone is so accepting of them. We even have festivals thrown by different ethnicities, religions, and sexual orientations such as drag shows and our Caribbean Festival (which I love because I'm West Indian).

There's parking everywhere but then again it depends on who you are and the permit/pass that you acquire. And I wouldn't advise you parking places you know you're not supposed to because you'll always get caught, I've even been a victim of that. They enforce ticketing and towing. And the cost for a whole school year for a permit is almost $500.

The food is good however, it gets old after a few weeks. Some of the food is under cooked.

The shuttle is convenient to take to class and around the large campus

The off-campus living around Charlotte is quite expensive. My sister and I have been looking for an affordable apartment to lease for the past 2 months. There is many options but all were out of our price range. In order to find an apartment that is more affordable you have to drive a couple miles away from the school. Although if you do not have a budget it is very easy to find off-campus living. They might not be the most luxurious but there are some apartments that are of walking distance to the school. Charlotte provides a good area for students and many enjoy living off-campus.

Parking Is expensive due to the high volume of students and the large surrounding city

There is a lot of diversity at UNC Charlotte. Just walking across campus will prove that to anyone questioning this schools diversity.

Most of the programs have a good reputation. I'm a student of the Belk College of Business, and I landed an internship with a reputable company just after my freshman year, making $16/hr.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
