To start with what I liked...The UNT campus is GORGEOUS. In the fall, all the trees turn to beautiful orange and yellow colors. In the spring, there's bluebonnets all over campus. Overall, life at UNT is wonderful. The rec center is awesome. It has a rock climbing wall and a lazy river in the pool, along with a beach volleyball court out back. Dining halls offer lots of variety of food, but the Union also has a ton of options too. Professors were there for you, and wanted to see you succeed. All sporting events are free for students! If you want a diverse campus with lots of different people and cultures, UNT is the place.
Now for things I would like to see changed...Housing isn't awful, just well loved. I know that dorms are being improved year after year, but the older dorms on campus could use some TLC. Parking! It was awful when I went, so what they need to change is not overselling parking permits - especially for the commuter lots.

I've only been here for two semesters but overall it's a very fun experience. Some classes are harder than other colleges but your professors/TAs/SIs/Helpdesk are all here to help you. I would change the scheduling of classes even though they have a lot of variety, I just wish they had more noon classes rather than early morning or evening classes since I'm an esports varsity player. I love the campus itself, the events they have are super engaging, the scenery, even the food is (consistently) good. I play to stay at UNT since it's like no other college and I'd give it a solid 9.5/10 since there's always room for improvement. I love it here and I will stay here!
Attending UNT for me was pretty scary at first since it meant being away from home. But, getting to be involved in programs, classes, and college housing really helped ease those worries overtime. I really enjoy the community gives a very welcoming impression to people like me who just started college. Not only that, but some of the special events like vendor events, housing fairs, movie nights, and holiday events are super fun! Something I'd like to see changed is the involvement of the student community. Overall, UNT is a great place and i believe students should really take the opportunity to get out there and get involved while having fun.
