Plenty of high quality computers and IT service

No special campus transportation. General transportation cost is average.

Not really any housing very close to campus, but the housing in the near areas is pretty good.

We support the University of Oklahoma Norman athletics, which are wonderful.

I live in a large city, so there are tons of good restaurants everywhere.
College Junior 2013-09-10T08:19:30Z
the campus is very safe and i see campus police all the time.

Guys & Girls:
There is every type here and most people are very smart.

FAST FOOD IS KING HERE. the State is very over weight and they don't have a lot of sidewalks. people don't walk around here. but if you look you can find some very good ones.

TORNADOES ARE SCARY! and beautiful. Its hot here in the long summer but it is nice most of the year here. only like three months that are cold.
College Junior 2013-08-21T18:08:17Z
This area of town is pretty safe. There is a security office that offers assistance for students like walking to your car etc. I do not feel unsafe while on campus. There have been some people on campus that were not welcome, but there is a good system in place to alert students.

the workload is hard but doable and appropriate for a doctorate level program. The facilities are nice. The program is competitive and is well prepared. The labs are good and interactive and have appropriate equipment.
College Junior 2013-08-21T17:51:09Z
The programs that are offered are very good and very competitive. The Tulsa campus does not have as many options as the OKC campus, and the fields are limited to healthcare professionals mostly with some other degrees available at the Tulsa campus.
College Junior 2013-08-21T17:47:29Z
the food on campus is good and fairly affordable there are just not very many options.
College Junior 2013-08-21T17:45:56Z
There is a mall close and many restaurants in near campus in this area of town. Not as much variety as bigger cities, but for the city it is more variable in this area of town than any other.

The program is very labor intensive. Class or clinic are every day of the week. Also, you have to be available to the school from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the week. The curriculum is preset and difficult. However, it is doable for students who strive to succeed.
College Senior 2013-08-07T20:24:12Z
This is a competitive program with competitive entry. The application was fairly straightforward. However, the problem was in turning in all of the additional documentation that is needed. This part was disorganized, and the deadlines were not enforced.

We do not do internships for radiation therapy. Instead, we have clinical rotations throughout our schooling. These are a big time commitment, because 15-25 hours of clinic are required along with being enrolled full time in other classes. Clinic allows for students to learn job skills while also learning the theory behind them in the classes.
College Senior 2013-08-07T20:17:24Z
This is the major that I always knew I wanted to pursue. Radiation therapy combines my passion for treating cancer patients with my desire to be a part of an evolving field. OU HSC offers a very organized program for full time students. My concern is the job market after graduation. These jobs are not easy to come by.

Parking on campus can be awful. Make sure to get to campus early in order to find a parking spot. Lots are labeled for students and employees.

As a branch of the University of Oklahoma, sports and school spirit are some of the most important aspects of their athletics program. The school spends top dollar on its facilities and student involvement.

The biggest weather threat is tornados which usually occur in May. They are not all that common but can be a problem, especially for those that do not have proper places to avoid the storms. It snows just a handful of times during the year, ice is more of an issue. It is also very windy here most of the year.
College Senior 2013-01-28T15:35:45Z
There's a lot of diversity on campus because there are multiple grad programs offered and most exchange students come over here to get a higher level education.

Guys & Girls:
Most of the people here are in grad school, so most of us have already had the "college experience". Not many parties, not many social events since the main campus is in OKC. Lots of diverse ethnic groups and wide age-range of students.
College Senior 2013-01-04T17:12:59Z
There are plenty of things to do in the city. There are tons of concerts and fine dining establishments for people to partake in. Sporting events as well.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
