Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

The facilities on campus are kept very clean and are constantly being upgraded. Sometimes, they’re kept so clean and so nice that the amount of tuition that goes to place old cherry wood paneling throughout the student union bathrooms seems a little excessive. However, after the initial shock, and if you try not to think about the money it costs to keep the stadium lights on all night in order to do construction, OU is a more than comfortable place to inhabit.

The campus itself is beautifully landscaped and kept incredibly clean. The Student Union, as well as the athletic facilities, are top-of-the-line. The Union has many popular places to eat, including many fast food chains like Quiznos, Wendy’s, and Chick-fil-A. It also provides activities to participate in, as well as comfortable places to study or chat with a friend. Comfortable leather chairs often present a sleeping hazard when trying to study for an exam. The workout facility, or Huffman, has all the top-of-the-line workout equipment, locker rooms, and aerobic classes. The University of Oklahoma’s facilities are definitely one of the stronger reasons to attend the school.

Up to Date

I love the University of Oklahoma and the facilities it provides for us. The Huston Huffman center (the HUFF) is the main gym and has areas for working out, basketball, volleyball, racquetball, and many more. OU's student union is also very great with many food choices and study areas. It is a place where many people go to just hang out. The library at OU is a main go to during dead week and for tests. It has a lot of history and is interesting to see. Always activities going on our beautiful campus. Boomer.

Unique Library of OU

The University of Oklahoma has an amazing library, and the hours are wonderful from 7:30a.m. to 2a.m. It is the largest research library in the state of Oklahoma. There is a museum that is filled with historical books and materials like manuscripts that OU is famous for. The students are courteous of one another, but if the noise is distracting, then there is the Great Room where no sound can be made so students can study quietly to their liking. All the staffs are very generous and helpful, and they will help retrieve books also. The library has a big computer lab in the library where students can use any time. There is also a coffee shop where students can get snack or a drink to wake themselves up. The OU library is just filled with many amazing books, articles, journals, microchips, and more that is very interesting. It is a great place for students to study, take a nap, or just hang out. It is an all-in-one library, which is very convenient.
