Campus Corner, located on the north side of Boyd Street (the northern-most boundary of main campus), is the most popular off-campus dining area. Featuring bars, grills, cafés, organic food, and Thai, these restaurants are easy, fast, and mostly affordable. Campus Corner also features specialty shops and University-affiliated offices, adding to its appeal for students. Parking is an absolute nightmare, however, so be prepared to walk to your final destination if you choose to dine on Campus Corner. Norman is predominantly a college-town and a suburb of Oklahoma City, which means that many popular chains have opened shop here to cater to every dining necessity. Within a four mile radius of campus, there are Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean, organic, and Smokehouse options. For students in need of a nicer restaurant, Oklahoma City’s Bricktown is only a 30-minute drive, though these restaurants are considerably more expensive than the average fare around campus.
