Being in the top 10% of my class, I expected I would receive more financial aid from the school than I actually did. Unless you are an international student or a national merit scholar, I wouldn't expect too much financial aid from the school.

The financial aid process was a very smooth process and I have no complaints there. The only problem I ran into was that I did not receive much financial aid because of the amount my FAFSA says my family can afford to pay. It said we could afford this substantial amount when really we can only afford about a fraction of that number. When I tried to explain my situation to financial advisors, I was told there was nothing they could do for me because of my FAFSA amount. The best they could give me were a couple of loans which paid for a fraction of my $15,000 tuition and we managed to pay for the first semester. Now I need as many scholarships as I can receive in order to pay for the rest of my 4 years in college.

I'm currently fighting for financial aid in order to stay in school.

The financial aid process very easy and well-organized. If students or parents have any questions the financial aid office is easy to get a hold of and extremely helpful.

They cater pretty well to National Merit Finalists.
