The weather in Norman is about as unpredictable as the student quotes in this book. When the weather is good it’s absolutely beautiful, and when it’s bad it can get really horrible. The spring and fall are the best times of the year when it’s not too hot, but not cold either.

The average temperature stays above freezing during the winter, and it can get very hot during the warmer months, so students should have light and comfortable clothes along with heavier clothes for the winter months. Because of the rainy season, students should also make sure that they have some shoes that they don’t mind getting muddy or soaked with water for those rainy days. Seasons vary in temperature, but normally it’s pretty hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s a good idea to have an umbrella with you at all times during the rainy seasons, because you can walk into class and the sun will be out, and leave only to be caught in a monsoon.

HOT

The weather in Oklahoma is usually sunny, and from March until October, expect temperatures upwards of 80 degrees. The winter is not too cold, and expect only one or two snowfalls on average. The only downside is in the spring--tornado season.
