What can I do over the next two years to help me differentiate myself when I apply to college?

I am going to be a junior next year and I am starting to think about college and what I need to do to better prepare for college apps. After my freshman and sophomore years I have a 3.9 cum gpa, unweighted. I have taken 1 AP class and 3 honors classes. I plan on taking at least 3 AP classes and 2 more honors classes through high school. I plan on taking SAT I and SAT II (Math 1&2) and then ACT with writing. I have set up a tutoring business that I have had for my entire sophomore year and I have 4 students that I tutor in math. What else can I do to separate myself?!

Do extra volunteer just for fun, not for an assignment from a teacher, senior project, or anything like that. Volunteering shows how supportive of your community you are and good attributes and experience you have that everyone else may not.

You need some life experience. I would consider taking on one less AP class and adding some volunteer time to your resume. Even just a couple hours a week for your junior and senior year would look really great.

And do an art or hobby type class..

Play a sport or join a club. Pretty much involve yourself in everything possible

Grades aren't everything, you need to be involved in clubs/organizations to set yourself apart from other students who have good grades.
