While the University of Oregon certainly isn't Miami Beach, it's not Fargo either. Instead, what you'll find is a happy medium in terms of the eligible student body. Students all agree that spring term is the best time in Eugene, when you can see what's been hiding under all the clothes after a cold winter. Men generally aren't disappointed with the quality of women, whereas ladies offer mixed views of who's hot and who's not.
The biggest criticism between sexes at UO is a lack of style or effort put into appearance. However, some people like that designer clothes and styles aren't main priority. Overall, the people here are real. With 20,000 students you're bound to find someone you don't mind looking at. The key is to keep up with the social scene and meet as many people as possible. Given such a large student body and variety of people, you've got a good chance of finding someone to stay with you during, or even after, your college years. There is really somebody for everyone.
