Eugene is filled with eateries to serve a wide variety of tastes. For those wishing to indulge in grease, all the fast food restaurants are a short walk from campus. For a more classy experience, Beppe and Gianni’s is a definite hot spot for great Italian food and a wide selection of wines. Eugene also offers good Mexican food at Chapala or Burrito Boy, the student favorite. The Glenwood is a great place to eat for all types of cuisine, especially breakfast.

The beauty of Eugene is in its local spots and mom-and-pop restaurants. From a steak at Steelhead to a scramble at the Glenwood, there’s a something for everyone. There’s even a selection of organic restaurants and local chains. With a flavor and taste for any appetite, it’s difficult to complain about Eugene’s array of dining.

The food in Eugene is very good if...

The food in Eugene is very good if you know the right places. For a quick, cheap meal you can get pizza by the slice at Sy’s Pizza, which is near campus. Burrito Boy is also a favorite for good and inexpensive Mexican food. If you’re taking somebody out for a nice dinner and don’t mind the budget, Ambrosia has the best Italian in Eugene, and the Electric Station has a great atmosphere and a wide variety of foods. For Chinese food, Ocean Sky provides large plates, and the Maple Garden is near campus and provides inexpensive but tasty food. For a good steak, try West Brother’s or Steelhead.

Restaurants off campus are awesome! Oregon Electric Station is good, but a bit expensive and the Glenwood is extremely reasonable and has delicious food.

I love to eat at good restaurants. Some of my favorites are The Oregon Electric Station, which is really jazzy and unique, and Steelhead Brewery has some very good brews and a great environment. These are just a few good spots.
