Lots of Option and Cheap

The options are pretty good and diverse. Decent cheap dining and lot's of 24 hour options.

SKODUCKS

Parties are fun and frequent and pretty easily accessible for the most part. The bar scene is legit, but not so much the club scene. Underage nightlife is amazing as well, you just have the law to avoid.

Diverse Student Body

Having so many people at UO, you're bound to find someone you're interested in. The diversity of personality here allows for everyone to fall into their own little circle of friends and relationships.

Duck Love

U of O is pretty much the best place to be. Options are presented in nearly every category and people are friendly as ever. My favorite part is the fact that we have live ducks that live on our campus. People even leave out pet food dishes with chunks of bread so they have something to eat. If I had to make the decision all over again I would still pick the University of Oregon as my go-to school. I wouldn't trade my experiences here for anything.

Diversity

Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to who catches the eye. U of O has just about every option there is out there ranging from race, religion, type, etc. The options are endless. It's not hard to find someone special here on campus. One attribute that most of the students here have in common is being laid-back and fun loving. We take our education seriously and we work hard but at the end of the day we're more about succeeding as long as we're able to enjoy ourselves and others while we do it.

Well..

I have a wild time during games and on the weekends. Nightlife is what you'd expect from a big college sports school.

It Seems to Be Growing Here at UO.

The Greek system went dry a while back but the their whole scene seems to be growing rapidly on campus. You see more and more of them. Their parties are great as well.

Diverse

Despite the majority of Caucasians, ethnically, there is much diversity to be found in terms of religion, sexual orientation, and economic background. Furthermore, there is a great array of personality at UO. The school is mostly liberal as well.

I'm a Greek

And I'm having the f****** time of my life. Great parties and amazing friendships.

Attractive People Everywhere

Given that not every single person is hot, UO has a good amount of beautiful chicks and hot guys. And the best part about it is that due to the diversity of people here there's a hookup for everyone!

Foods Good!

Plenty of options, not too pricey, tastes great 99% of the time. And there are many places to eat on campus, all are very accessible as well.

Business School

In terms of my own major i'm very satisfied with my education at UO, though it should be noted that the business school here is the one of the best if not the best college within the university.

Solid Academics

Professors are knowledgeable, accessible and helpful. I am very much satisfied with the program I am in. I really feel as though I am learning and growing intellectually.

Good, but Can Vary.

Just moved off campus and I've been excessively happy with my apartment. Location is great, renter dude is chill, and the place in inexpensive. Great housing is out there to be found, you just have to put some effort into looking.

Amazing

This university is phenomenal, there is always something to do. They have lots of shops and hangout spots, they have cool shops to look for clothing. Safety is great, the campus has safety poles. They have plenty of churches and sporting events. The attitude we get back was amazing. I recommend this school.

LLC

I lived in a very new building and it was great. This is likely attributed to the fact that this was the newest residence hall on campus. Rooms were spacious, even with a roommate, centrally located (like most dorms at UO), and real sense of community among residents. I very much enjoyed my housing on campus.

Great Looking Kids

Surprisingly, for a cold weather school, there are many many attractive people. A lot of California girls and guys, as well as your attractive Oregonians.

I Wish Campus Was More Safe

The crime alerts on campus are scary. In the immediate campus i feel safe but once you leave campus it is a little sketchy.

Police Protect Students

The drug scene in Eugene is fairly large, mainly being Marijuana. Much drinking occurs off campus at local night life and bars around town, but on campus, it is nowhere to be seen. Campus is a place for academics. Police regularly patrol on Friday and Saturday nights, ready to shut down any party near campus.

Oregon

It rains, quite a bit. Spring is pleasant, and summer is generally mild. It snows late in January usually, but it infrequently causes longterm problems. Campus has only been shut down once because of a blizzard, back in the 80's. If you live off-campus, the snow/ice might cause some problems, but it's usually in the more outlying areas.

I Bleed Green

University of Oregon is everything I could have wanted in a college, plus some. Living in the residence halls my Freshman year was an unforgettable experience. I met the friends I will have forever and the experience was one I will never have again.

The Journalism program is amazing and all the professors are inspiring and WANT to help you produce top quality pieces.

The diversity on campus is great and I feel it is easy to be accepted. There are many groups and organizations to get involved with you just need to put yourself out there!

I am proud to call myself and Duck and I will forever bleed green!

Nightlife

The party scene at the UO is average and acceptable. The parties that are available are house parties. You have to know a person that will be there if you want to go but most of the time people just walk into random, loud houses. If one doesn't hear of a party then you either party in your dorm or you walk around until you find something. There are underaged clubs but they aren't all that great. So, underaged people usually drink illegally but you choose not to then there are always events going on on-campus.

My Roommate Is Mexican American

My roommate is Mexican American and she is one of my best friends here. She often says how she wishes there were more diversity on campus. The campus is predominantly white.

Off Campus Dining

University Of Oregon is surrounded by many of off campus restaurants and food facilities, they offer anything from bar's, restaurants, and fast food places all with in walking distance.
