Public Speaking – My major is Healthcare Administration. The lower level classes were the most complicated classes. Most of the lower level classes result in several public speaking power point presentations. I was eagered to start the upper level classes. The upper level research papers are challenges which we deal with on a every day basis.

My school is very accelerated, meaning students attend class once a week and each class is five weeks long. I enjoy my school because it is very flexible with students everyday lives. For some students managing school, work, family, or any other scheduling they may have can be very stressful and hard to accomplish. With my university you are able to work around your schedule while still managing to achieve your degree.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
My school tuition and financial aid process is ok, it can be better. I receive a military discount for classes, but my financial aid money is no help at all. I'm barely geting enough money to take all my classes I need to take. All my financial aid forms are on time, and financial advisors make sure of it and keep students aware of deadlines. Sometimes I don't think the value of education I am receiving isn't worth the tuition I pay, because I personally believe education should be free but that is not the case.

Online Classes – Online classes were VERY different. I loved the fact that we are able to work on our own time and pace. This can not be done in a traditional classroom. The professors were very helpful and encouraged on a daily basis.

Math/Curriculum Major – The curriculum for my program was very appropriate. The class size was manageable and the workload was manageable as well. The faculty was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The Financial Aid process here was tedious and frustrating. Information that could help me was witheld and there was no one to help me figure out situations. When things went wrong with my financial aid, I was given the run around.

Do It Yourself – I love that I can do things at my own pace and on my own time. I do not have to be in class at any specific time so I have one less things that I am trying to juggle. I am able to sit at my table with my little girls and do my homework and participation while they are eating or coloring and I can still be attending to them. I learn best by reading and I feel that I am absorbing more this way as opposed to falling asleep in a lecture hall.

Saisfied but Curious – I am very satisfied with my decision as I am learning a lot and feel that I am taking the classes I need to eventually transfer for my graduate years. I love that I am going to school online since I am a full-time working mother of two little girls. I am a littel weary of the fact that there are never any exams and I have heard that people have to take many classes on a campus before they have been eligible for transfer

Online Experience – The University of Phoenix has online educational opportunities in addition to campus-based. The online program is the reason why I selected the university. Being able to participate online allows me to continue my education amidst a hectic work schedule that involves varying hours and travel.

Looking Into the Future – While I am still in school, I know that there are many opportunities that are out there for me as a Alumni of this school that the school provides. There are job opportunities that are set there by some fellow alumni that look to hire those of their same school. There are ways to research careers just for the degree that you obtained. There is a alumni website that can help you with all services, from getting help while in school to figuring out what life choices you need to make, to where to find a job and how to do the interview.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
