I don't necessarily like taking online courses because I learn better from the traditional classroom setting but i am getting a little more used to it.

My School has been very helpful when I needed to speak with someone about my personal issues and my time management.

I think the workload is sometimes a bit much but with a little time management everything will be ok.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I think the tuition is a little expensive at my school but all the experiences that I have had with my financial aid counselor have been pleasant and they are very helpful in getting my financial aid to me in time. Tips for financial aid: Make sure to fill out an required forms on time and be thourough in your information.

Overall, the student body is very friendly and the culture is great. There is a good mix of students and they are quite helpfull in getting the team assignments completed.

I am statisfied with the school but at far as I have heard, there are no internships available.

I have not really had any real problems with my classes or curriculum. The only thing that I would change at this school would be that my core classes are all online and I would have rather been in a classroom setting because I believe that I would learn more.

There are really no campus activities as far as I know

I don't know much about the job prospects through my school

There are plenty of workshops and availability of help for the students.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I have never agreed with how much education costs in general. Comparing to what other schools in the area cost, University of Phoenix is more expensive. I do feel as though I am getting a great education though.

The computer network is a bit slow but the computers are always up to date. When too many people are printing the process slows down.

Many of the resources provided by the school are online which makes for easier access. One I have utilized is counseling over the phone which helped me through a tough time. Also, the student resource center has many computers and is open at reasonable hours.

University of Phoenix is a great school. I love the crirriclum they provide for most classes. Not only do they have great instructors but they also provide great resources. My only problem with the school is that they are closing some campuses which includes mine. I will not be affected by this, but many other people in the region will be.

Instructors Not Answering – I wish the instructors would answer my questions in a more timely manner. If I send them a message of importants,to me, that has to do with an assignment it can take 3 or 4 days to get a reply if at all

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Personal Financies – This course was very easy to follow and the instructor was extremely helpful. She always asked a question at the end of every discussion question, to keep the knowledge flowing. I am an online student, so this helps.

Instructor Expectations – It can be very difficult to follow some the instructor policies for some courses. They sometimes want more than some of us students can deal with on a daily basis.

Attend Class on Campus – I attend on campus. I find that most of the instructors communicate very well with students, however there are the occasional that are hard to reach or give vague/ambiguous answers. My experience shows that it is had to find a good learning team in which each person pulls their equal weight in the group.

Uop Is There for the Student – Previously, I attended Ivy Tech State College and it was a complete hassle. I could never get a hold of anyone on the phone to discuss problem, confusions, or get any kind of help.
UoP is just the opposite. The representatives are extremely helpful and always return phone calls within 24 hours. If the person I was speaking to did not know the answer to my questions, he or she did what was necessary to find the answer.

Post Grad Services – There is an alumni network and career center with our school. I have yet to check either of them out, but I have been told by my teachers that as long as you work hard you will easily find a job.

The only resources on campus are computer labs. Our campus is made up of an office building. I don't see a lot of campus activities going on because it is always night classes.

I have had a good overall experience. Advisors are very attentive to your needs. I hear from them at least twice a month. I like that the classes are 5 weeks long and intensive but I learned a lot more already than I had at different 4 year colleges.

Career Resources – There are many resources available, however I am not sure they are all helpful. The University just added some additional services to help students with their personal lives. The services include financial counseling, emotional counseling, and career couching. There are not really any resources to help you get a job after you graduate. The alumni association will send you a lot of information. It is primarily trying to keep you involved with the University and there events.

There's an App for That – The University of Phoenix does an excellent job with keeping up with advances in technology. Students are able to access the classroom with their smartphones and iPods'. The site is very user friendly. Students have the ability to do everything from research to get a tutor. The only thing the students need is an internet connection. In which the University has a computer lab available for students. The computer network has minimal problems in which are dealt with accordingly.

The New Classroom – The topic of online classes' verses traditional is becoming very common. When I tell people I am completing an online degree they have many questions. I always tell them it beats those lecture classes. In which you have to sit and listen for hours. Online classes are easy and convenient. You are able to gather the same knowledge without rearranging your life. Online classes also help increase time management skills, communication skills, and team work.
