In the criminal justice program there is a lot of interesting course. Learning about the constitution, laws, and law enforcement is very challenging. The workload in the criminal justice program can sometimes be over whelming but the most part it is easy. The curriculum is laid out in a way to understand each task clearly. The facilities is security, quiet, and also has a friendly atmosphere. I have not did any research to find out about the internship but I do know that the school is always having jobs fairs.

The University of Phoenix offers a variety of resources from career driven to course driven. The career services help students and alumni assist with interview skills, resume writing, searchable salary comparisons for each state, and much more. Course driven resources, such as Writing for Excellence that assists each student with writing papers and research skills, is a helpful resource for students who need the help or just a refresher on old skills necessary for each course. The staff is available for any question a student or alumni may have. Group assignments allow students to generate great working relationships with others. I have developed a great bond with my group members, and we continue contacting and assisting one another with other class assignments. I am a mother and full time employee, and I am proud to be a University of Phoenix student.

The network is average. Sometimes connectivity is slow, but overall the network as a whole serves its purpose.

The majority of the study body are working-class individuals who have both families and jobs. They work together when necessary to insure that team assignments meet the criteria for submission. Oftentimes team members build a bond and are able to socialize and network outside of campus.

The campus does not have a gym or auditorium. It is a small campus. The Resource centers/Labs are orderly and have adequate computer equipment. There are several conference rooms available on campus for students to meet. The library is electronic and contains a wealth of information that is easy for students to access.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The experience I have with my financial aid is wonderful. My financial aid is an investment for me to have a better lifestyle for me and my daughter once I complete my degree; and get my career started. So I can pay my loans back. But now with my everyday life struggling being single mother working two jobs. Living from paycheck to paycheck. I need this to be a new beginning for me and my daughter.

The facilities on campus aren't bad. There's a gym and a brand-new auditorium for theater performances and other events. Even though it's not a campus students live on, it's definitely a comfortable campus to hang out at between classes, whether you're getting coffee at the student union or catching up on some reading at the library.

The main reason I chose this school was because of how flexible the class schedules are. I am able to work around my personal schedule, which is great. I attended another school before coming here but many of my credits didn't transfer, which is a bummer. But the convenience of my new school outweighs the non-transferable credits.

I am a student of University of Phoenix and so far the experience has been excellent. I currently attending Applied Science in Business Office Management and in our classes we work in teams, which is great. I have people with wanting and willing to work to better careers and get good grades while together. I personally like working in teams because it helps take most of the workload off of your hands. It's a great school for people who want to have great success in their careers that are a people person.

I chose this school because from the first moment I walked in there and spoke with an adviser he explained everything with clarity. He told me the schedule and the expectations with the course that I agreed with. The school schedule works perfect with my job.

When i first started online I thought it would be hard and the teachers would be mean, but it was the other way around. My classmates are a bunch of motivated exciting group of people. Going to school online I don't have to worry about putting gas in my car everyday. My class room isn't very big about ten students and everyone gets alone fine.
College Junior 2013-02-17T22:04:06Z
I attend the campus and all of the professors are knowledgable about the course of study that is being taught. The curriculum is 5 weeks long which is excellent. I really appreciate how they gear everything towards the working family and they are always there when you need them.
College Junior 2013-02-04T20:44:09Z
Our school is primarily online. No athletics and campus activities. Everything is online, including the library, schedule and grades. There are two computer labs, but they are also used for classes.
College Junior 2013-02-04T20:39:49Z
Being an online school, the network is way too slow to support the demand of students. There are not enough labs, and paying to print jobs at the campus is an insult. They get our money, and then want us to pay to print an assignment in class. WIreless access is very poor in the classrooms. It is almost pointless to bring a laptop to class. All resources are online, so however you access it is up to you.
College Junior 2013-02-04T20:35:44Z
As I have stated before, communication is lacking. That is the biggest downfall of the environment at the university. Being mostly an online school, counselors do not keep in contact with the students. If we call, we get voice mail. There just is not enough contact between the counselors and students, period.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
