I have not taken any online courses but have not heard overly positive feedback about them from other students.

I have attended a community college in the past. I did not have a good experience because I always felt like I had to compete with other student for a class. When my academic adviser finally contacted me about a required class, this class was already filled. Here at the University of Phoenix me academic adviser sat down with me and we enrolled me in all the classes required to graduate. The classes are for five weeks. I enjoy this because it keeps me interested and does not drag on repeating the same material. I am always learning something new. My instructors teach in the field that they have made careers in, so this way I get first-hand knowledge about a subject rather than depending strictly on textbooks.

There is a very nice modern computer computer lab. Although the internet service leaves much to be desired.

Most of the people who attend my school are working while attending school. A good majority are in relationships and have children. The overall student body and staff are friendly, helpful, and outgoing.

NO Travel Time – Love not having to travel 30 mins one way to get to class. On campus for adults is nightly and getting out late and the drive home at times was not a good match. The professors on campus made things personable where as online do not.

Online Classes for a Busy Individual – Having the ability to do online courses makes education easier then on campus. You may not have the same interaction, but receive equal amount of studies. I have done both online and campus and prefer the online because of the ability to do the work while holding done a full time job and family.

Probably Would Have Chose Another School. I chose this school based on my life's situation at the time. Looking back now I would have chose a school with a better reputation in the working world.

Older Students – My school is made up of a lot of older students that have not been to school in a few years. It is frustrating sometimes being the youngest ones because the older students do not know how to use Word, Power point, Excel, or even the internet. It is hard to work on group projects when the group members do not understand technology.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
A Goal With Growth – The university helps when help is needed and the materials are on target. The business courses give what is needed to function in a current workplace or a new workplace giving the situation. When finances come around to renew each year the adviser is there to help walk you through the process as needed. The campus is close by if further help is needed.

My online experience at the University of Phoenix only consists of using a forum to communicate with my instructor and classmates. I do not technically have any online classes.

I really enjoy attending the University of Phoenix. All of the instructors are actively working in the fields that they are teaching. Having instructors that work in the field brings first hand experiences to the information that we are learning. Having my instructors working in the field is helping me to become established in my career field.

Why I Would Choose University of Phoenix Again – As a young, mother of three, going back to complete my bachelor's degree seemed almost unattainable. I looked at other schools and wanted the best accredited education possible for my given situation. University of Phoenix challenged my mind, and gave me the ability to complete my bachelor's degree, which placed me in a better position to provide for my family.

Overall Very Happy – I am very satisfied with my school choice. The faculty is great and you can really tell they want you to succeed. It is really the only school option for me because of the online work and night campus time. The classes are small so you always feel involved and you are granted more one on one time with every instructor. So far all of the instructors have responded quickly if I needed help after school hours. In some instances in less than hour I have been sent a response.

Content Lacking – The main reason I chose this school was because it fit my life. Most of the course work is online, and there is only one on campus day at night. Most of the staff is excellent and excited about what they are teaching. However, the content leaves much to be desired. The first class and the one I am taking now seems to be a waste of money. The instructor runs out of content and sends us home early.
