The only resources on our campus are the Student Resource Center (SRC), Student Workshops, Tutoring, symposiums, use of Learning Team (study rooms), and the Vending Machine Room.
The SRC is great. We can print up to 200 pages per day, free. There are usually plenty of computers available.
Student Workshops - I attended several workshops (APA, reading comprehension) when I first enrolled, and since have completed several online (3-day) workshops. The on-campus ones are every 2nd Saturday, and online are convenient and easy to schedule.
Tutoring -only used it once or twice because the ones I need occur on th night I have class.
I have attended two symposium, which were great. The downside: they take place during the day and the school does not offer continuing education credits.
Learning Team rooms - There are different sized rooms. They require reservation between noon - 10:00 pm. I use these by myself or for team meetings. Only the rooms in the SRC have computers.
Vending Machine Rooms-There are two; one upstairs is smaller than the other. The larger room has two free coffee machines, cold/hot water dispenser, microwave, two soda machines, and a health and regular snack vending machine. Also, tea bags and creamer/sugar, etc are free.

So far, the instructors in the MBA program do not enforce the 2 substantive posts/4 days per week on the OLS. Perhaps this is because of the graduate level, and it is an on-campus course. Some instructors encourage posting and for some courses, there is more of a need to post. I find I get a quicker response when I email the instructor directly.

The material is very challenging, but in a good way. Sometimes, I feel that 6 weeks is not enough time to learn and get a good handle on the material, and that includes the 10+ hours per week I study on my own. However, I enjoy the material and am able to apply the concepts at my current workplace, which helps solidify the concepts for me.

I enjoy almost everything about my experience about Phoenix. I just wish the instructors would grade consistently. I work hard to ensure I follow APA format in writing and for citations, yet some instructors are really loose when it comes to that. ALso, I don't like when an instructor is going through a powerpoint, stating, you "don't need to know that, or that, or that" and it appears on the final. Although I understand they can't cover everything, it would be helpful to state, "we will not cover this at this time, but you will probably need to be familiar with it for the final."

My enrollment and course of study has been fairly straightforward, with minimal requests on my part. Other than changing my concentration, which was processed rather quickly and without any problems, I have not had any problems.

I have been to several different colleges in my educational career and this by far has they best system. You are allowed up to 200 pages FREE to print of copy. There is wifi installed on campus, making it easy to access anything. The Student Center has computers available up to 10pm at night.

As I had stated earlier, the class is instructed by people who are in the profession we are being taught in. The instructors have first hand knowledge of what we need to know and there is the personal touch they can give with their own experience.

Before you even start the job application for your field, Phoenix is preparing you to make those Network connections that get you that job. The programs that you are in are taught by people who are in that profession. You are being instructed by someone who is actually working in the same field you are getting your degree in. What happens with this is that you have a foot in the door with any company that you apply because you have people who know your reputation and can vouch for you professionally.

my classes are good, my classmates are wonderful, professors are all different and their grading criteria is very rigid. seems like you must be perfect and no one is perfect. the material is interesting and I enjoy learning.

The university is great for getting FAFSA and grants. I wish they would help a bit more to help secure scholarships.

The wireless network is always available and fast. The library has 1000's of resources for our use. There are plenty of computers in the lab with two color, 2-sided printer/copiers.

I realize that it cost a lot to attend school. The only thing is u worry about my home and family and paying or loans that I have to pay back. All the money seem a lot but I known it going to benefit my family and myself in a education.

The professors at the University of Phoenix are great. They teach classes at Phoenix and have day jobs in the fields that they teach in. The real life application of the subjects they teach is very helpful. In your major the curriculum from one class to the next tends to build upon each other. The class registration process is relatively easy because your academic adviser does most the work for you unless you are like me and ask to change and double up classes in your schedule. The workload can be hectic due to having five week classes. there are workshops you can use for study options and there is always additional reading available for classes to get a better grasp on materials.

The graduation team is a unique thing about University of Phoenix. Each student has an enrollment coach, academic adviser, and financial adviser. This is very helpful to students. All staff members are very helpful and encouraging. All staff members work in jobs outside of phoenix which gives students a chance to network for jobs.
College Senior 2012-11-06T19:00:00Z
The student body at the University of Phoenix is diverse. There seems to be an equal female to male ratio of students in general education course requirements. The ethnic ratio on campus seems to be diverse. The views of students in politics vary widely. The school is accepting of all people and all views and encourages students to be open and honest about who they are and what they believe.

The computer labs are clean and safe. The labs could use more functioning printers and fax machines. The computer networks are almost always functioning. Sometimes, it can be difficult to get into the computer network on your personal computer. The speed is sometimes slow.
College Senior 2012-11-06T18:50:04Z
There is no library on the campus expect for an online library. The online library is very easy to navigate. There is no athletic center. The student center is nice. It would be helpful if it was bigger and had more functioning printers and fax machines. The school would benefit from more campus activities. The campus is clean and safe.

Classes Are Interesting and Revelant – I feel like were getting real world experience through our classes, because all of our professors work in the field that they are teaching. It's not limited to outdated irrelevant text.

Academic Advisors – My academic adviser has been there at every step of the way through my schooling. It is an invaluable resource to seek help at every opportunity. The Enrollment adviser I had the opportunity to work with streamlined the entrance procedure into University of Phoenix, and made it a breeze to get started.
