UofPX has a diverse population of students. Most of us are non-traditional students in that we are working adults. We have some younger students who are not employed full-time as well. Our diverse cultural backgrounds add value to understanding roles and expectations in the heath care field.

I chose UoPX because of the fast track opportunity. With my busy work and volunteer schedule, I am not able to sit through hours of instruction. I like that I attend once night a week and the assignments are on my time.

They teachers are excellent. I think the teachers is what makes the school so efficient. I have had bad experiences when dealing with financial aids but my the professors make up for this. I receive one-on-one attention and the teachers go above and beyond to ensure the success of their students. It is obvious they really care about being the best teachers they can be and seeing the success of their students. They are very hands on and will go the extra mile. I can say I have not had one bad professor yet and take away so much from each course I take.

You'll be surprised to know how much resources the University of Phoenix offers; educational magazines, tech helps, and even counseling for your mental health. Although I'm not fully using all the services the school offers, it's nice to know I'll get needed help I need over a phone call away.

This school has a detailed syllabus that students can start their group and individual assignments, which makes it easy to plan around their work schedules and family obligations. However, they can't choose their instructors, so they can sometimes encounter a bad instructor.

Majority of students have a full-time job and have family. Some students seek only to obtain a degree in my school. 40% of students are Latinos; 50% of them are While; and 10% of them are other. My school has a politically and religiously diverse population.

It has been 30 years since I attended college so I really don't have anything to compare. There is always someone available to answer questions or help with assignments.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
University of Phoenix provides the education I am looking for and online classes allow me to do the work on my own time. Team discussions allow students to see the subject though the eyes of classmates as well as the text.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education I am getting is invaluable! Tuition costs are high, but well worth it. The financial aid process was easy as my advisor walked me through every step. I started this academic journey alone, but I am finishing with a strong support team at the University of Phoenix! The best tip for any student is to take responsibility for your education. You owe it to yourself and you deserve the best quality of higher education.

My experience at UOP has been a very good one as the flexibility of online and ground classes are available. Transferring credits from Wayne State gave me ease entering into a new college.

I would give UOP an A- due to the experience with advisors directing me after I graduate. They offer support with resume building and give information on hiring businesses.

My School – University of Phoenix is not a regular school because it offers online and campus courses and operate 5 to 6 weeks course. Classes are once a week for 4 hours, and every 5 or 6 weeks different courses start.
Since it runs non-traditional classroom style, it is fast paste and alot of homework and team progect involved.
I would choose this school because the fast paste courses and topic focused classes that taught by professional in the field of study.
