The University offers a student enhancement site to access different programs and has other initial job search resources available, as well. Career Services and the Alumni Association currently share a job bank with LinkedIn for finance and accounting graduates. Recently, the University of Phoenix teamed up with Monster.com, the job bank and job search site, and Careerbuilder.com for job services. Both of the sites offer resume creation and construction services, as well as day-to-day search engine capabilities to check for job opportunities. In addition, many students refer to About.com for business services and the Web site's insight into today's entrepreneurs.
The University of Phoenix is currently up-to-date with student needs. For example, those students who are acquiring their teaching credentials could use Career Services to link up with HigherEdJobs.com and complete a curriculum vitae. Also, internships are offered with FastWeb and can be linked with the University of Phoenix. The University of Phoenix does offer job opportunities with the school, and the added feature of HigherEdJobs.com to construct a vitae resume would be of critical importance to a new graduate. Many times, University of Phoenix alumni become University of Phoenix employees. They are often recruited because of their understanding of the University's unique form of higher learning.
