They will give it where needed but any additional money you have to work for or go in and talk to the head of financial aid yourself. If you work hard or need it, they will give it to you.

The financial aid office was very helpful in assisting me with my finances. The only issue that I dealt with was how work study actually worked and not having anyone accurately explain that situation to me. Because of that, I had to go through a difficult few semesters paying the school back through working part time at the library.

The school offers a lot of financial aid and it is easy to receive. After filling out the FAFSA, the school processes the information and you receive a letter stating the amount of financial aid available.

The scholarships and grants given at this school are among the finest if you are able to prove to them that you worked hard throughout high school. I was able to pay for 2/3 of my freshman year and loan out the rest. The only thing that leaves me slightly frustrated to this day is the fact that we still have students who go here on full-rides and have families that can completely afford to pay for their education, while other less fortunate students like myself are forced to resort to loans and the like. Still, overall great financial aid packages are generally offered here.
