| Advice on Finding a Job/Internship | |
UR students have a variety of resources at their disposal to aid them in their search for a job. The Career Development Center (CDC) dedicates itself to finding students their dream job or internship. UR also has a strong alumni network, and many students find employment through the connections that they make while at school or networking with alumni. Take advantage of the CDC. They have hundreds of job and internship listings, offer practice interviews, and résumé critiques, among other services. Every fall, they bring recruiters to campus for a huge career fair. Get started as soon as possible and don’t give up hope. Try and get at least one internship before you graduate, so that you gain experience and can make some connections.
