Great Financial Aid Program

Financial aid paid for almost all of my tuition costs, and provided me with a lot of opportinities to apply for need-based scholarships. It was amazing until I graduated and needed an extra semester to finish my licensure program. Then I lost everything and they told me the day before tuition payment was due. For undergrads it's fabulous though and I would recommend it to anyone who needs extensive financial aid.

Slightly Nightmarish

The school is very expensive, but it has a big endowment. Some of their criteria for judging how much people can ACTUALLY pay is skewed, my best advice is ask for as much as you can and apply for the merit scholarhips, they offer up to full-tuition and can be found on the website!

i got an outside scholarship so didn't apply for financial aid. however, im aware that richmond has great financial aid and gives out tons of money in research grants to select students. that said, i also know people who received aid but are now drowning in debt.
