College Prowler Take
There is a geeky constituency at UR, seeing that it is a science-intensive school, but there are a fair share of attractive guys. Intellectually, there is a good chance of finding a guy who is not lacking in the brains department. The girls tend to be attractive and very put together, for the most part. They tend to be described in the middle scale of attractiveness. Everyone finds everyone else is friendly, so if nothing else, we all play well with others. Because it is a school where all the students are on the same level intellectually, you will develop good relationships with people that are long-lasting. The only complaint of students is that both guys and girls tend not to approach others they don’t know, so some maintain the people are unfriendly at UR. However, at parties, people will get friendly and get to know each other better. Whether they talk to you the next time they see you on campus is another matter. There tends to be a flurry in the beginning of the year in terms of hookups and relationships, and it calms down as the school year progresses. Both sides have their share of attractive ones, and if relationships don’t blossom, there’s always the view.

I’m a girl, and I’m into guys, but I’m also a minority. What I mean is that the minority selection on campus is few; hence, there is a drought of black and Latino males. Otherwise, it’s just fine! |

The guys coming in this year are really hot for the most part, but we’ve got a lot of people that look like they just fell out of a bad 1980s movie. The girls, in general, are pretty hot, too, and if you’re into tall chicks, UR has a ton of them. |

Guys on campus are mid-range hot; there is not a whole lot of out-of-the-ballpark gorgeousness, but there are lots of nice, sensitive guys who are good to be friends with. |

Generally speaking, there are few girls that I would rate very pretty. Those that are receive a lot of attention from guys. I don’t know why this trend occurs, but it seems like this year’s freshman class has more attractive girls in it than the remaining campus put together. As for the guys, they’re not much better. There are more attractive guys than girls. I say that because I prefer bigger guys, and there is a very large football team on campus. Being that UR is such a good school, I can’t call the school full of jocks, but there are those few students that you question how they got accepted. |

The girls aren’t probably as good...
The girls aren’t probably as good looking on average as other schools, but there’s enough to make it worthwhile. The ratio is pretty standard, a few more girls than guys. Note to all nerdy guys—remember that while the average looks aren’t all that special, there are a lot of really hot nerdy girls here. This is never a bad thing. |

Most of the parties on campus occur on the Fraternity Quad. You can generally find a party going on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, with the occasional holiday. If you’re not into the Greek Scene, there are sports parties off campus, a couple of off-campus frats, and parties in Hill Court and Riverview.

At the beginning, there’s a flurry of hookups, though it tends to taper off as the year progresses.
