College Prowler Take
USD students are definitely the closest thing you will find to an Aaron Spelling television campus in real life. And they know it. Not very many students have a complaint about how their classmates’ looks. The guys are all very fit, active, and extremely well groomed for college kids. Students find the girls are generally blonde and beautiful and have impossible figures. Those that aren’t blonde are nearly all drop-dead gorgeous, and being “not blonde,” they stand out even more. Some students also find that there are just too many girls. It usually depends what side of the fence you are on for this to be a problem or not. Girls come to class made up, and guys can get away with the skater look, as long as it’s done right. There is also large brigade of Armani’s Army on campus. There are nearly two girls to every guy, so guys who already have the looks to do well with the ladies have their egos blown up at USD. Moving off campus is sometimes hard on a USD guy’s confidence, but they usually recover nicely. Due to the lack of guys, girls sometimes complain about the competitiveness between the girls on campus, but it seems like there are always cars with San Diego State or UCSD bumper stickers pulling into campus to pick up or drop off a lovely Torero girl. I’ve never seen more beautiful people than I have at USD. Not only do we have quantity, but quality, as well. Hugh Hefner should just set up a booth on campus. |

You cannot find a school with better girls than USD. They are classy, smart, sexy, and there are plenty of them. |

USD—University of Spoiled Daughters. I think people tend to feel like they don’t fit in at first if they are not blonde and don’t have a new Beemer or Jeep. But, overall, they get over it. People are nice, and you have a little bit of everything. There are lots of good-looking girls. Guys, not so much, but there are some. |

Social Scene
The social scene at USD is extremely intimate. Everyone knows everyone else, from seniors to freshmen, and when something happens, everyone knows almost immediately. Not only will you know all of your classmates, you will probably know their majors, hometown, best high school friends, and latest hookup.
Hookups or Relationships?
You have to decide which one you want, and fast, because by the time you make a "relationship decision," your entire dorm is going to be on Instant Messenger relaying the information around campus. Usually things start off with hookups, with repeat customers blossoming into relationships. Girls outnumber guys on the USD campus, and residents of Camino/Founders are famous for pining for a mere sighting of the opposite sex. This can go to the guys' heads, and there is more than one well-dressed freshman who considers himself a junior Hugh Heffner in training.
Best Places to Meet Guys/Girls
La Paloma and Maher Hall are the best places to meet fellow USD students on campus. For the off-campus relationship, there are millions of local coffee shops, concert venues, malls, and events, as well as one major dating ground known as San Diego State, but nothing leads to a successful acquisition of digits more than a nice trip to the beach.
Dress Code
Severe. By day you can get by at USD with shorts, flip-flops, and some cool T-shirts, but they better be à la mode. When it comes time to impress at parties, dances, or clubs, you better have the sickest gear out there. Don't think you are going to sneak around with those cheap gas station sunglasses either. People will notice, and they will talk. Girls are almost always made up even when they are dressed down, and while guys wardrobes are more casual, an expensive Abercrombie or Volcom T-shirt is a much more likely choice than that free rag that came with some magazine subscription.
