I don't go off campus much, but when I do, I love it. Mardi Gras is amazing because it here in Mobile AL, foot ball games and things like that are fun to go to, and there are multiple coffee shops and restaurants all around the campus. The school is fairly close to the beach, so we can go swimming whenever we want. The biggest problem is probably safety. The roads aren't very safe and you always want a big group or a big guy with you when you walk the streets after 5pm.

The atmosphere of Mobile toward students is great. There are lots of attractions in Mobile, the Museum, Arts, Municipal Park, Dauphin Island Beach, Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, Shrimp Festival, Mardi Gras, USS Alabama, Azalea City Maids, Bay Bears Baseball, Bay Bears Stadium, etc. Mobile is a fun place. Shopping at the Big Malls and numerous other stores and a beautiful airport. A Tennis Court nearby and bicycle paths. We have the Theater Guild and the Joe Jefferson House . Mobile is a lovely seaport town noted or its Southern charm.

I find that this area is very peaceful being located near a beach and the water. The attractions are easy to access and free most of the time. There are lots of runs that people can sign up for as well. Mardi Gras is also a big hit in February for locals as well as students.
