As a native of South Carolina, I've grown up knowing that monograms can hide the nicest of girls, and that while frat dudes and sorority gals can be common, there are just as many 'regular' people as there are in other parts of the country. Don't give up on us!
You are definitely right, and I have met some of the nicest people here and I don't regret coming here at all. Life and people in general are just different down here, and it just is not for me. I will be transferring this fall. Whereas my brother, who is obviously from the same area up north as me, is a senior and he still loves it and never wants to come home haha. It just depends on who you are.
