School Spirit
Fr the most part, school spirit at USD is considered to be high. From Coyote Crazies in the DakotaDome to those students who boast everything the University has to offer, many students are strong supporters of the school. In addition, many professors have come to USD from larger, better-known universities and say they changed schools because they wanted a chance to interact with students and do some research or other activity known to be unique to USD. Of course, you'll find students that don't like the campus, but the majority is usually saying good things.
Getting Tickets
Call the Coyote ticket office at (605) 677-5959. Tickets are easy to get, but some football games do sell out (about one or two per year). Adult tickets run from $10 to $15 per game, and adult passes range from $25 to $110, depending on the sport. Students with ID cards get into regular season games for free and don't need to call ahead for tickets. Just go to the game and walk toward the student seating section, where your student ID is scanned and you are permitted to enter. But if you are a student and you want to sit in any other section, you'll need to buy a ticket.
