Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

For those who are not familiar with Florida weather, it tends to be a little bit bipolar. At one moment, it could be pouring rain and seem like a thunderstorm that is pushing the boundaries of a tropical storm could be going on, and minutes later, it could be the nicest and sunniest day that you have ever experienced.

To deal with the constant changing forecast of the area, one has to be able to handle the change between showers and hot, cloudless days. This is mostly only during the spring and summer months. During the winter months in Tampa, it is pleasantly nice compared to the rest of the country. Normally, it's 70 degrees outside, which is considered too cold for most Floridians. This is a perfect example of why "Snowbirds" (people from the North who visit during the winter) choose Florida.

Florida

The weather is extremely unpredictable. That, coupled with having to walk a whole lot, which I don't mind at all under normal circumstances, gets pretty rough.

Oh Florida Weather...

Living in Florida, it is almost always raining or extremely hot. Doesn't really affect my collge experience. Just like any other person, no one really wants to get out of bed when its gloomy out, but we have to continue on with our days but when it is nice and sunny out it is a small push of motivation to get on with my day.
