I received a decent amount of financial aid from the school and other places but I advice a person to make regular appoint with their financial aid adviser so that you can be well taking care of financially.

USC is located right next to a museum. The area is peaceful and quiet. There is even a rose garden that you check out and relax in or even take your partner.

Campus security is very strict on parking. They don't care that much about underage drinking, especially during tailgating. Drinking in the dorms depends on your RA.

Computer lab open 24/7 and computers in the main campus library. They get very crowded during finals, but the school opens up other building during that time so you can always find a place to study.

There are always parties on the row or a house near campus, but there is only one close bar.
College Sophomore 2013-08-26T05:46:46Z
The dining hall food isn't that great. But the on campus restaurants are good, although some are overpriced.
College Senior 2013-08-26T04:57:57Z
There is only one campus bar/club which is a bit disappointing. Parties on the Greek Row happen every weekend are quality events. House parties occur as well but are much quicker to be shut down. Transportation to off campus events can be found relatively easily

There's tons of drinking here, and ample use of illicit drugs. Marijuana is quite prevalent. There are policies in place like alcohol.edu and substance abuse education but only so much can be enforced
College Senior 2013-08-26T04:53:58Z
There are tons of libraries and many good study spots on campus. The student union has resources for almost every need and the aesthetics are pretty pleasing on campus. The athletic center could use some renovations and upgrades but is satisfactory overall.

so much support and guidance, and the alumni will hook you up with networking

Spirit out the wazoo. Cardinal and Gold everywhere, and people are so psyched to be here. facilities and the like are amazing--it's USC so they better be. You get the whole Ivy and brick wall aesthetic, plus gorgeous foliage and sculptures.

It's not exactly fine cuisine, but with a few dining halls within walking distance you can generally find something good. EVK has good omelettes, but IRC food is better for lunch and dinner. There's great stuff in Tutor center

USC is known for world class athletics and renowned over the country for football, track, water polo, and many other sports. Varsity sports are almost always televised and huge not only for students on campus but also the thousands of fans that never attended USC.

Located in the heart of Los Angeles, there are thousands of things to do every night and even more possibilities on the weekend.

Guys & Girls:
Great amount and variety of diversity with both guys and girls. Many kinds of people from different walks of life that make this school a very unique one.
College Sophomore 2013-08-20T03:15:34Z
Not much need for a car on campus. Parking is very expensive, especially if you buy a parking permit for the year. Not many available spaces.
College Sophomore 2013-08-20T03:13:08Z
The drug and alcohol scene at USC is really big. Almost any underage student has access to alcohol. Dorm rooms smell of drugs.
College Sophomore 2013-08-20T03:10:53Z
Apartments are very expensive. Not many are good quality apartments. However, they are close to the campus.

Consistently perfect weather. Chilly at night, warm during the day.
College Junior 2013-08-19T18:36:09Z
The area around campus has a bad rap, but it has a strong sense of community and it's located in LA where there's always something to do.
College Freshman 2013-08-15T23:32:36Z
For my major, I have a required research component which means I have to spend one whole semester at least participating in on or off campus research at one of the many hospitals and health centers. I also have many opportunities for internships that I am planning on taking advantage of during summer.
College Freshman 2013-08-15T23:30:43Z
There is a parking lottery at USC for the very spots that are available so it can be very difficult to even get a spot. The permits are also very expensive with most costing at least $400 a semester.
College Freshman 2013-08-15T23:28:54Z
I had already declared my major, Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, when I applied to USC. This made the process so much easier because by the time I came for my orientation over summer, my adviser already had my four year course plan printed out and spent time with me going over different possible options on how to graduate and when to graduate. He also set it up by having me take the majority of my General Education classes the first year so I could easily switch majors if I needed to.
College Junior 2013-08-15T20:59:06Z
I usually take the bus to school but I have heard that parking can be difficult and the permit is expensive
College Junior 2013-08-15T20:57:35Z
There is extensive use of alcohol and marijuana but both are done recreationally
Sorry, there are no reviews.
