The school campus is beautiful but the surrounding area is scary.

I was not offered nearly as much financial aid in my second year as my first, suggesting that USC lures freshmen with an attractive package, only to leave them hanging in later years. Some financial aid people I have spoken to were helpful, but others did not seem to know what they were talking about.

I am a graduate student in the online program and financial aid is very very low. All you get is a loan, and it does not cover your full tuition once you become full time

In my classes, diversity is an especially important topic. Bensimon, an influential USC professor has written on the topic. Of particular interest is the Diversity Scorecard, and how USC fares. I enjoy learning through the lens of other minority and underrepresented students.

The school is proud to be among the first places in the nation with great diversity, both in students, international students, transfer students and faculty. You literally meet people from all over the world.

There is a very wide variety in study areas, as a student you are able to wonder out and maybe pursue a minor, for the options are plenty. The prestige of the school opens doors to the professional field. The instructors are great, and the program is amazing.

Like all good Greek colleges there are plenty of Frat/ Sorority parties. School offers a free transportation service pretty much all night. Aside from that, Downtown LA is very close on the metro, for all the 21+

It is very intense. The best part of the program is its interaction with the urban context of the city. Our instructors are practitioners with many years of experience on an ever changing field.

USC Academics are top notch. There is a reason why USC was ranked as one of the nation's top universities.

For the most part, USC's facilities are state of the art, especially the new buildings that are being constructed. However, one thing they should really consider upgrading is the gym. It looks like they haven't upgraded it since USC opened

If you enjoy the Greek lifestyle, USC is for you. Social life is centered around Greek life.

In term of USC's major sports, we had a pretty down year last year, but there are still die hard fans that come out and support their teams no matter what. Especially at USC tailgates, you truly see what sort of camaraderie there is among USC students and alumni. Great atmosphere and great program

I love it. It's a little hectic schedule-wise and I've had a few not so great professors, but for the most part it's been excellent and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else in comparison.

It varies depending on your experience and how risky you are about doing illegal activities. Generally, the campus is strict. It keeps things under control.

You can find parking. It's difficult, from what I can gather, but I don't have a car. I don't recommend even having a car.

Professors are very knowledgeable in their subject matter. I have a professor who has taught the subject longer than I have been alive.

Many advance placement courses are necessary in the mathematics department. They are looking for students who demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills.

The campus housing, albeit expensive is GREAT! They school has provided dorms and apartments that are close to campus so if you have a bike, longboard, scooter you're always within 10 minutes of Tommy Trojan--the center point of campus. They're renovating alot of the apartments so they're not as dingy as they used to be so that is a plus. Living on campus means you are closer to the action, especially during weekends, welcome week, spring fest, football games. You're within walking distance of everything!

The USC campus has a lot of stuff going on campus 24/7. There is the pop music midterms in which popular music majors perform either at Ground Zero, this really hip coffee lounge place near Trojan Hall or at Tommy's Place which is an underground bar/resturant at the campus center. I attended alot of those events and they were really cool and fun. Outside of USC, there are alot of options such as LA Live and Hollywood, although prepare to shed alot more money going out on the town as opposed to going to the free events that USC has.

The Drug scene her isn't big except drinking at bars, parties, and clubs. It is a very clean campus that knows how to have fun!
Sorry, there are no reviews.
