I don't drive, so I cannot answer this question. Most students complain.

The facilities are incredibly impressive. I went to a campus club meeting and ended up in one of the campus theatres. The massive campus allows the school to really invest in it's real estate. I was not expecting the different religious centers and music halls.

Guys & Girls:
This is one of the biggest schools in California, and needless to say. The heat gets turned up and the women know how to dress. Beautiful ladies everywhere who are also brainiacs. All nationalities and sizes.

Campus life at USC is how you take it. There are plenty of student organizations for any kind of student. The facilities are dignified as well as state of the art and the campus food is surprisingly good. A large school with large organizations help the transition from small community college to a 4-year university. The dedication of our sports teams is also amazing as the entire school shows it's pride come game time.

While there are students who do drugs casually, the majority do not. Even if people are surrounded by peers who do drugs, there is rarely any peer pressure in wanting others to follow. Everyone at SC is very open and accepting of people's morals. Drinking is a more popular activity to drugs at SC anyhow.

Campus Cruiser is a wonderful idea however it is restricted to only a small area directly outside of campus and takes a very long time (longer than it says it will) to pick up students.

As far as campus housing goes, I believe USC has a very solid housing program. A variety of dorm types are offered as options, the facilities are nice, and the communal living experience allows students to get to know their peers well.

THe places around campus are good we got a lot of options. But we need more. After a while you get sick of the same thing.

Almost all of our sports are the best teams in the nation, and the whole school goes to almost all of the sporting events, from Tennis, to Diving, to Football etc. It's a very athletically proud school.

Trains and buses are convenient. Taxis are harder to come by.

Southern California's weather is lovely and this enhances campus experience. In winter, summer, spring or fall one can enjoy the campus grounds and soak up some sun.

There is great diversity and acceptance by staff and faculty alike of ethnic racial, economic background, political beliefs, religion and sexual orientation. This is evidenced by the clubs and groups representing each group.

USC is located downtown L.A and infamous for its diverse cultures. Campus is walking distance from many local restaurants which include Mexican restaurants, Salvadorian, Honduran and many other Latin American Cultures. The night life is great; LA Live one of the biggest attractions and close to the Staples Center.
College Sophomore 2013-05-23T05:17:40Z
Wet campus. Lots of parties. Drugs very rarely shown, but alcohol is very prominent all the time.

Health & Safety:
USC is in a pretty run down part of downtown LA. DPS keeps the place very secure and protected though. Just be smart and don't go out alone at night.

Greek life is very dominant at this school. Go Greek or go home. The Greek life is pretty cliquy and like a social ladder. There are top houses and bottom houses. Greeks aren't viewed very well by non-Greeks. They are viewed only as partyers. Housing for Greeks is very nice. Each chapter has its own house. 95% of the houses have a nice, large house on the "Row".
College Sophomore 2013-05-23T05:13:21Z
The off campus housing is somewhat expensive, and the quality varies. Some places are pretty nice while others are flat-out terrible. The process to obtain housing is done by a lottery, so its completely random whether you get nice housing or crappy housing. There is not enough parking spots. DPS keeps the area very safe.

There is a pretty large international community on campus due to a large number or international students. However, most international students tend to isolate themselves (expected since it is a new country). I'll put it this way, there is not a large and diverse community on greek row.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
