it's an amazing school with nice people, small class sizes, and a lot of people willing to help you out

There are certain foods that I really like in the Loft or cafeteria. I really enjoy the bar-b-q and deli selections at the deli restaurant. My dining dollars and meal plan cover enough that I am never short on food. Only downfall is that food options are either closed or very sparse on the weekends.

USI is a great small college. I enjoy my classes and the other students I have met. Since starting college the only thing I feel I am missing out on is the experience of a larger college with football and weekend activities. USI is a commuter school and pretty much closes down for the weekends.

The weather isn't so bad. At least for the most part, the students don't have to walk since there is a shuttle service.

Health & Safety:
I don't feel unsafe on the campus at all. Campus security can usually be seen driving around, making sure everything looks fine on the outside. There are also security poles across campus with telephones on them, so you'll always be in touch with them, should the need arise.

I love the university so far. My only complaint is how expensive some of the things are on campus, such as food, but there is an abundance of clubs and organizations to keep students occupied.

The transportation is great. There are two buses that run and make trips around the campus everyday. The buses don't run after 9 so if you're studying at the library late, then you'll have to walk

I love our housing here! It is awesome! All the dorms are only for freshmen but they all have there own living spaces and bathrooms! The upper classmen have the option to live in apartments that are in walking distance to campus.

Our campus I would say is somewhat diverse. Everyone accepts each other for who they are and what their background is here. Most people don't care if you are a different race or have a different economical background then them they will still accept you!

Our school is smaller so its fan base is also smaller. But everyone that comes to our games is crazy and supportive of our teams!

The school works hard to set itself apart from other universities. There are so many opportunities that are made available to students that vary from jobs, to clubs, to study abroad programs. This stuff could not be found at any other school.

There are many different ethnicities and religions represented on campus. There is also an extensive international program with people coming from other countries that the school encourages the talk to American students so the American students can learn about other countries and cultures. There is much talk of ethnic diversity on campus.

I really like student life on campus. There is always something really awesome to do. There are a lot of places to eat on campus, and food can even be delivered to your living area. There are many activities to do on campus. There are free movies 3 times a week on campus. There is also the physical fitness center that has an amazing rock wall. As I always say, if you can't find anything to do on campus, you're not looking hard enough.

Guys & Girls:
There is a wide variety of both boy and girl types, but everyone interacts together. There aren't really any cliques.

i would do this all over again but maybe a little different i wish my freshman year i was more involved but i was kind of scared of the older kids and scared of being in a new place was kind of hard.

i do like our program at usi for theatre. most of the teachers are very good at what they do and have real life stories to tell us about what to expect when we finally get in the real world. i wish we could get to know are teachers and a way to be closer to them so they can really tell us what we need to work on and if we should really keep going with this in life.

There are a lot of computers on campus! They are all very good quality! you can even rent laptops from the library!
College Junior 2013-09-05T20:28:34Z
Its not bad if you have class at 8 am. but if you have class anytime after that its pretty packed and hard to find a spot.

Health & Safety:
I feel very safe and there are hardly ever any crimes! there are safety poles everywhere to call security.

Parking all around campus! Tons of spots and easy access to all classes!

Love the views and atmosphere of the campus, definitely a high A+.

Pretty good health and safety, I have never felt in danger, and I feel like they definitely care about the health of the students by keeping a clean atmosphere!

You get a lot of one on one help and most teachers explain everything thoroughly.
College Junior 2013-08-19T03:18:46Z
On the weekends, there is no trouble parking. However during school hours, if you don't have a parking permit, you could spend enough time looking for a spot so you're late for class. Parking lots are full during the week. USI is a big commuter campus.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
