Tuition & Financial Aid:
Not Bad – The education I'm getting is well worth the money i'll be paying. I got quite a bit of student loans, but I'm fine with the expense because I know my degree will make a difference in my career. The only thing I wish the school would do differently is make its fees better known.

Terrible Network – To get connection to the internet is a problem most of the time. The computer lab/library is concealed in a small room, very uncomfortable where the computers are worth crap and the printers most of the time don't work.

Great Team of Professors – All the professors are excellent. Because is a small school is like being a family everybody knows each other whether you are in one program or the other. All the staff does their best to fill our needs as students. Classes objectives are always met and the teaching dynamics are great for the amount of time we have for each class. Those who are interested in learning really get the best out of each and every class. The only complaint would be that because our classes are month to month and the organization at the moment is not the best for the last few months we have to wait until the day before the new class starts to know which we will be assigned. And with this happening those who have to sit out a month because they wont offer the class needed that month wont know until last minute. I think they need to improve the communication with students regarding to these situations.

Not Bad – The school was recently bought by Dade Medical College so its going through some changes that I personally believe will be for the best on the long run but at the moment is creating disorganization that is affecting the students. I don't regret selecting this school for my AS but If I had had a better choice I would have definitely gone with option B.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Very Helpful!!! The financial aid advisors at Southern Career College are extremely helpful when you apply for financial aid. They even sit down with you and assist you in filling out your FAFSA if you need assistance and have questions about things you don't understand. I think if they hadn't been there, I wouldn't have done it right and I wouldn't have gotten the loans I needed to attend school.

They Keep the Classes Interesting and Fun – Some colleges teach only out of the book but at SCC they teach both theory as well as hands on. They also use real life experiences to help us understand what they are lecturing about

Instructors Really Seem to Care About the Welfare of the Students – The instructors really care about each student and their needs. They have an open door policy which I love! I attended another college before I attended Southern Career College and the instructors there didn't seem to care nowhere near as much as my current instructors.

We have teachers that have actually been in the medical field. Who have worked for many years in this profession which makes it easy for them to teach and for us to feel comfortable with them. Also they can give us tips on the things to do and things not to do.

The teachers are great but they don't keep teachers that long. The let go of some really good teachers. the school charges you a lot of money, but don't have money for supplies. You can go to day or night class it doesn't matter. that is the best thing about the school. But i think I would rather of gone to another school.

Great Students – there are students from all walks of life and we all get along

this school is run like all they care about is your money, the teachers are great, and the admissions dept. is alright but if you need anything done in the financial department forget it your better off doing things yourself, but there quick to take your money. kind of like our government.

Hands on Learning – Everything about this school is hands on,including, teachers. In my opinion hands-on is the best way to learn.
